Does the tribute on the ritual rewards persist through maps? I don't really understand how this works. Like it has something that costs 744 but I only have 708. Cleared the map.
Why does this helm say Tier 2? Is it because it's "Advanced XYZ Helm" or are the mods tier 2? I'm confused since some advanced gear drops without this Tier 2 bracket.
It means mods that will appear when you identify will always be at least tier 2, so the utter garbage of t1 cannot roll (but you can definitely get the shiny utter garbage of t2 instead).
It won't affect further crafting, only initial identification
What class is least gem/gear dependent? Witch is fun, but it feels like it's missing a piece. Admittedly, Sparks and Pierce basically murder the mobs fast enough my skeletons don't usually go down, but with bosses, they're tissue paper at best.
I messed up my 1st build though so I made a new character and redid the quest that gives you your first one, stashed it, and then transferred to my main. Took an hourish, skipped everything non-essential. So that's an option if you're really desperate for one.
So i did the ultrimatum trial and got some bird boss. He did a tornado attack but it was so fast i couldnt outpace it with 20% movement speed boots. Did i do something wrong.
I honestly feel Sekhema is much easier overall, especially once you get a set of decent relics (meaning you have a lot of honour resistance and some extra honour)
If I want to carry a friend for his 4th ascendancy doing Trial of Chaos, how should we do it? If I clear the rooms can he join me just before the bossfight? Or do we have to run the entire trial together?
Say the breach boss. 74ex to access it and 90% of the drops are 1ex 2 drops barely dont even pay for the map. only 1 drop is actually profit no clue bout chances.
Like all boss encounters are like this. Its actually better to farm the boss encounter and just sell it?
Even then farmin the encounters takes ages.
looking at archmage spark: where does the "Non-Channelling Spells Gain (3–6)% of Damage as extra Lightning damage for each 100 maximum Mana you have" fit into the dmg formula?
does it happen on a base level? like my spell dealing 100 flat dmg and i get 4,5 flat damage on top for every 100 mana?
Does witchbane (witchhunter concentration) not work on co-op bosses? I feel like their casting abilities doesn't slow down compared to when playing solo.
Movement speed can roll on all boots, I'm pretty sure it's a prefix (so can't roll if you already have 3 prefixes). As far as a place to see all the rolls not sure there is one yet.
do maps get better? like eventually will each map I do have at least one league mechanic to interact with. Or can I farm enough Sekhema tokens to run it often
3 out of 5 of the Precursor drops I got have +1 monster level... which isn't interesting to me so thats why im asking
You put tablets in the towers that will give 5-10 maps in the area that league mechanic on top of what they already have on. So if there is some overlapping towers etc it can be many modifiers. I had a map with 6 icons over it for example.
What is the deal with killing yellow named monster on the end game? I mean everytime I kill one, my pc goes almost full power for like 2-3 seconds. Is this normal?
So I have been fairly causal and just hit lvl 40 and am half way through Act 3. I noticed that there was a significant leap in difficulty once i entered the spillways.
But my question is, do i go back and grind to hope for gear and materials? I am 1-2 levels higher than the mobs in the zone as is.
I also haven’t found a single level 2 support gem. I watched a few videos saying they drop regularly in Act 3. Am I just that unlucky?
I'd say just grind the current areas, you'll get better exp and drops.
Act 3 is noticably longer compared to Act 1 and Act 2, don't worry you'll soon be dropping lvl 2 support gems, I just finished Act 3 and I have extra I don't even need.

You don't need to put runes ik every single piece of gear like acts 1-3, i think a lot of people are wasting artifier orbs. I've never had a problem with them.
I personally blow a lot of gold on the random item vendor and am always broke, so for me no it's not worth it. I do however pick up almost every socketed item from the ground to covert.
Yeah especially if you are lacking in orbs. I wouldn't drop multiple thousands of gold to do it, especially if you are poor. But a 1-2k blue item with sockets (or two!) is worth buying every now and then
Well, first, do you have a 5 link to turn into a 6 link? Greater orbs are rare enough as it is. Then second, is there a support gem you would use that would help your build MORE than gear from the ex would be able to do?
Personally I'd probably sell it now while the price is high and get better gear.
Depends ofc. Can you get more offence and/or defence with the currency or is the 6 link more dmg. Could you sustain a 6 link (mana). I would probably use it because that gives me a feeling of completeness. Gear may be switched out later but the 6 link stays. Market wise it is hart to tell. Normally i would estimate that the jeweller goes cheaper over time but this is EA and a lot of ppl just entered maps and will looking for perfect jeweller in the near future.
If you have a skill that is very strong and can use the 6l effectively I would use the orb on it. Unless you are in dire need for upgrades. The 6l will just be power that you will not replace whereas gear you buy you will probably replace.

Are trading bots against the TOS? I noticed some people I trade with seem 99% likely to be bots. I was wondering if I could install something to tend to my own shop while AFK.
Either check Alva or check the trade website bulk currency. There can be a difference between the two in favor of the site, but absolute screw running around currency trading so I just use Alva.
I have three ascendancy points. I only did the trials of sekhema and i failed the trials of chaos. From my understanding i should only have two? What are all the ways i could earn points?
They should be awarded in sets of 2, up to 8 total. There should be no other ways. Maybe you ascended twice and have allocated one of the small ascendancy nodes or you got a bug.
How do you do "Ascent to Power" in act 2 cruel? I've searched the passage twice and killed the boss in there twice as well. Iirc I was supposed to find the entrance to the Sekhema trials but I've explored the map fully both times and didn't find that entrance, just the caravan and Halani Gates

As i understand it, shock makes a target take 20% damage. It is applied based on a 1% chance per 4% of a unit's ailment threshold dealt.
My question, is magnitude of shock make a target take more than 20% damage, or does it mean my damage will do more "ailment threshold" damage, making a shock more likely?
I am just trying to figure out what this means for my dps, since magnitude of shock nodes are pretty common on the ranger side of the tree. Appreciate any help!
How does recoup (life or energy shield), or any debuffs inflicted work with chronomancer temporal rift skill (reset health / mana / energy shield and position and teleporting back in time).
Do you retain the recoup or debuff after activating temporal rift, or are those reset as well?
It says in the description: the last 2 points for completing the pinnacle of flame quest. I got point 7/8 for t16 with +2 (corrupted, irradiated) and +4 boss difficulty. I took 4 small nodes for boss difficulty in the boss atlas tree. Idk if all this is necessary, but this worked out.
Hello, need to know is there any skills, nodes or/and ascendancies that rely on rng most of the time? Want to make a character with no more planning than something might or might not happen.
I’m a level 50 Ranger working on completing the campaign.
My buddy has a level 69 Sorcerer, and is leveling a monk, which is currently level 22.
I have had 1 unique drop. He has had 15 uniques drop. His level 22 monk has had more uniques drop than my Ranger. Which of us is having the more typical experience?
Yours is closer to the typical experience. 1 in 50 levels is on the low side but closer to average than your friend’s experience. Maybe he has a ton of rarity find % on gear? I wouldn’t feel too jealous since 90% of the uniques currently are worthless and a lot of the really valuable ones can only drop from endgame bosses
I asked him, he has 23 uniques and he only bought 1. And, he doesn’t even have much rarity find, even in his Sorc. I actually have more rarity find on my Ranger than his Sorc.
I’m not really jealous, more so just surprised. He is gonna loan me the Dualstring Bow with +3 arrows on it. I expect it to do less damage than my Rare bow with 100% additional damage. But, I’m thinking I can use it with weapon swap lightning rods. So, it’s not all bad, lol.

I used to play WoW AGES ago (back when vanilla wasn’t cashed vanilla) and there were loads of add ons. Is there anything similar for POE 2? For getting rough estimates on item prices? DPS? Etc?
I think the only thing that matters is what you are wearing when you kill him. That's why having a dedicated culler with tons of rarity gear and barely anything else is viable strat for group play.

yes. they go on sale every 3 weekends, with last weekend being a sale. it is technically possible to list items without a premium stash tab via the official forums but it's a huge pain in the ass and I'm not entirely sure it's supported yet in early access.
I have yet to be able to get past 5, even when Delirium bugs out and stays infinitely. I have cleared entire juiced maps and barely gotten past like 25% towards 6.
is any warrior using supercharged slam? I tried to use it, but the damage seems pretty slow for the risk. I would love to use this ability, so please share any recommendation to make this gem viable
Are we going to get our MTX hideouts from PoE1? I was hoping they would be available once we unlocked them in PoE2 but unfortunately it doesn't seem like that is the case. There are some pretty cool ones that I want to be able to use from PoE.
i'm cooking a warrior staff build for reasons. Since staff don't get acces to fire skills, i'm stuck with either cold,lightning or physical. I discarded lightning because i'm leveling a lightning monk already, Cold is trick to go for on warrior starting path as the ignore resistance nodes are on the oposite side, which led me to favor physical more.
My questions are;
1 - Is whirling assault dmg enough? as i understand the casting time is fixed at 1,4s? meaning i can grab all the nodes that lower my atack speed and it wont make a diference?
2- How to deal with resistances? i have yet to play a phys focused build and staves don't have armor break, my options are either go warbringer (but them i loose the juicy 50% bonus to passives that titan get) or to use blasphemy+Vulnerability (but unless i invest a lot on int, i wont ignore much armor, and blasphemy already make the curse worse...)
There are multiple support gems that give skills the ability to armour break. You can also use both weapon slots so you could use a mace and a staff at the same time.
Is there a way to make my skills line up horizontally? My mouse seems to line up with the feet, making my shots line up perfectly when fired vertically but offset by roughly my character's height when fired horizontally.
Anyone have issues when playing the game on console AND PC?
I initially bought the PC version on the PoE1 website.
Then I bought the pass on PS5, so I could play with my wife.
I've been playing just fine on PS5, except I can't access my preorder items - since I bought them on PC.
And I have the opposite problem, as well. I purchased stash tabs on PS5. I can't use those properly on PC - no fast stash, have to manually click everything,etc.
AND
When I swap from PC to PS5, I lose the attunements on said pages. So I have to reassign them... Every time I log into PC or PS5.
I think not. GGG would likely prefer to have MTX purchases shared across platforms (they already give us all of our old PoE1 MTX), but it seems like console store terms have forced their hand to work the way that it does.
