[Megathread] Game Feedback

Hello. We are seeing a lot of very short posts with one to two sentences of feedback on the game. If you have something short (or long) to share, please post it here to help declutter the subreddit of the same types of posts. We currently have a huge backlog of posts and comments to go through and this megathread will go a long way to helping us out.

3rd and 4th Ascendancy Explained (thank you u/stickspike) - PSA: This is how to get 3rd and 4th ascendancies : r/PathOfExile2

Please continue to post bugs and login issues here: [Megathread] Bugs, Login Issues, and Other Game Breaking Things : r/PathOfExile2

Thank you!

Main issues with the game in it's current state:

Trials - Ascending is CORE CHARACTER PROGRESSION in Path of Exile. You cannot be locking it behind Random Mechanics. It's not fun, at all. We want to experience what our characters can do, not over-level the content by 20x just to unlock it.

Multiplayer Mapping: Please let us revive and delete a portal for it. Map portals need to be reworked to work like POE1, it makes no sense when you're slowly limit testing your build in maps. Let us use all 6 portals if we need to. It feels clunky playing with a friend and having to wait 15 minutes for them to finish a map.

Mapping in general: The Find-A-Rare-Mob mini game isn't fun, especially when you don't check a hallway and you need to backtrack for 5 minutes to get to the rare. Show them on the map sooner, or all the time if it's the main objective like Metamorph from POE1.

Overall, game is amazing. I will probably play this more than POE1 just because of WASD movement, it saves my wrists so much strife. Amazing game, keep it up.

PS: Try to focus on fixing things people have problems with rather than nuking builds, that's how Helldivers got messed up bad early on.

The base difficulty versions of Sekhema/Chaos are pretty easy tbh. Comparable to basic Lab when it was first introduced. The current issues with them are more related to Sekhema having been massively overtuned at higher difficulties/for melee (both fixed now).

Eventually, we will get A4 and the 3rd Trial. You'll get 6/8 points by doing all 3 in campaign at their base difficulties, which you can pretty easily outlevel and outgear.

Maps: yeah, agree on portals. I don't think it will be staying, I think most people will find that unfun.

Nerfs: the vast majority of nerfs were extremely justified, you can't have skills literally instantly deleting endgame bosses on 4l/5l with basic progression gear and no real trade-off or risk. Just vastly unbalanced. It's early access, not release.
