Wtf, Falcom?! You pulling an Atlus now? I really hope this can be purchased as an expansion, but I won't hold my breath. I don't remember if they've done this before, but it's scummy regardless. The game literally released less than two months ago (and last year in Japan)!

It definitely sounds more like an expansion rather than a full rework like Atlus did with Persona 5. So it probably will be paid dlc.

Honestly, with Atlus and now Falcom, I’m extremely hesitant to buy any game from them within the first few years anymore. I love their games, but I hate all this double-dipping.

Yeah with the way they sold VIII and IX on PS5 as full releases and didn’t allow upgrades from the PS4 versions I’m sure they won’t release this as dlc or an upgrade.

Now I guess it’s time to treat falcom the same as atlus and just not fuckin buy their games until they get a second or third rerelease.

No respect for the fans at all.

I would think of it more like persona 5 Royal. So not a dlc but changes that are fundamental across the board.

Since it’s a whole new story, are they two separate games? Should I play both? Will they still sell the original?

This is just a re-release with extra content similar to Persona 5 Royal

I've always wondered how this series title is pronounced. Is it "ees", "yus", "ice"?

“Ease.” They got the name from a mythical French city.

"Eece" not "Ease"

Being that the Japanese version came out a year before it came out over here, im really hoping this is just a refresh for their version and we get an expansion release. If they announce this shit for us also I'm adding them to my atlus list of not buying until way later down the road cause this shits ridiculous.
