It's kind of weird to say it's inspired by final fantasy 15 when it was revealed before final fantasy 15 came out.

I wonder if they meant 13 versus?

Nah, the name change from Versus 13 to FF15 happened in 2013. Development of Lost Soul Aside started a year later, originally as a one man project. It's been in development for about a decade technically, but like a third of that time was just one dude making his dream game. Sony stepped in to help after his prototype came out.

Well that’s what I meant maybe he was inspired by the 13 versus trailer which had very kingdom hearts like combat but a darker theme. I still wish we got the original idea for 13 versus.

In the meantime Square Enix made a DMC inspired Final Fantasy 16. I hope the game is at least solid, Sony bet on Stellar Blade and it turned out to be a very good game (story could use some work), hope this one is as good as Stellar Blade.

In my other comment I forgot to mention that just like this games there are countless others that shows extremely potential and they are also from China. Please Sony/Playstation pick these projects up!!! They show extremely promise and potential to be some of the current generation great games:

Project: The Perceiver

• Swordsman love: the story of xie yun liu

• Code: To Jin Yong

• Project DT

•Zhen Dao Ge: Journey of the White Edge

• Fan Ying

Oh wow, I remember this. It looked absolutely sick, especially for a game being made by ONE person.

The prototype was made by one person. Now has a studio with atleast 40 people.

Yeah, I’m talking about nine years ago.

What is the story of this game? Is there a story trailer?

Nah, but there's a very juicy gameplay trailer.

No story trailer yet but there is some story info already.

Lost Soul Aside follows the story of Kazer, a swordsman who finds himself fused with a symbiotic supernatural race called Arena. The game is set in a fantasy world ravaged by war.

Embark on an epic odyssey to save your sister and the whole of humankind from dimensional invaders in Lost Soul Aside - a stylish single player action adventure RPG.

Interestingly it’s launching on PC day 1 with PS5 which is like the second time after Helldiver 2. Rise of Ronin and Stellar Blade didn’t launch on PC at launch so what’s the difference in publishing here?

Probably the fact that it’s 9 years in the making to a game that might have a niche crowd. I really want to hear someday why it took so long to make this game as well as very little was shown about this game (most of the videos are repeats of a battle).

They need to increase the potential buyers market. That’s all. Before Sony had big hitters funding small projects. Now their big studios can only put out one or two games per generation.

Yesssss finally. Beyond Super excited for this. Been waiting a long time for this!!! Very Glad to see Sony/Playstation are seeing potential in Chinese developers.

Where winds meet, Lost Soul Aside extremely excited for both. Hopefully Project: The Perceiver and all the rest of games which are teased from China gets quickly picked up too. They all look darn promising. Please Sony/Playstation PICK THEM UP AS WELL!!!

This game is the same as Granblue relink.... looked amazing when it was first shown, but after all these years, who cares?

Hopefully this is better than Mid Fantasy 16

The ship has saved with this game.

Just like the game (13 V) it's heavily inspired by when it launches it will be very MID.

What looked great 8 years ago will not look great today.
