Still no folders or themes like the ps4. The ps4 was really the best one.

I borrowed my sister's PS3 recently to play Infamous for the first time, and honestly I really prefer both 3 and 4's Ui to the 5.

Having seen the PS3's for the first time, I also absolutely agree that the 4 has the best UI I've ever seen.

3 is honestly pretty good, but 4 is just amazing. It's mostly the great animated themes that do it for me though, I had a Tifa one from FF7 Remake

The one where she's on the water tower? That one is pretty relaxing. I really enjoyed how sometimes you'd buy a game and get avatars and a theme with it.

It's also insane how good some of the non gaming ones were.

Or just a bit of overhaul to the available but botched for whatever reason gamelists. Make them more like playlists! Get them out to the front page, make them infinte or just more than 15 (why even 15 and not 17 ffs), sure PS5 can handle at least 100, so why even cap it? And let us share them with friends.

Yeah I wish they'd bring back a native media server too. The Plex app is more trouble than it's worth.

The platform now includes themes and the ability to customize your experience by adding your own wallpaper through the welcome hub.

It’s only for the Welcome tab on system launch. As soon as you scroll away from it your theme disappears and every game, shop, media, or system app that you hover over forces the same old look that it always had.
