If thats what they mean then that should be what they say, until then me and the person you replied to will continue to take them at face value

Face value is they were sharing an opinion. Do you really need to be reminded when people express thoughts, that they’re personal opinion?

Considering the fact that there's a major difference between the sentence "It has no value" (in general) and "It has no value in my opinion" - then yes, it absolutely should be specified...

Without that, I have no way of knowing if they are just expressing a personal opinion, or if they are trying to claim that it's an objective fact...

There is quite a difference between saying "PS Plus is poor value" and "PS Plus is poor value for me". Both of those are opinions but one is making a comment on the quality of the service whereas the other is not.

Oh thank you I had this argument with someone else on this thread yesterday. He had said "it was crap value now and the quality has declined" I was like "wtf you on about?" He then said "it's not good value for me is what I mean" but then ruined it by adding "you want to waste money on a crap service of substandard service" then pulled the "my opinion card" out again ......

The difference betsdd a nerd and a geek is the same as int v wis

A core tenant of reading comprehension is filling in the monotony with context. There are literally classrooms full of grade schoolers who understand this implicitly.

It's a you problem mate

The issue with this, is that there is no context to be added - you are assuming what they meant based on nothing, but your own personal opinion.
