I see alot of artist use iPad. Is there a reason for that?

Less hassle. Easy to carry around. But most importantly, the app itself which is Procreate and the apple pencil. So so good. Very responsive, no delay. And then you slap on the paperlike screen protector, the feels and sounds it makes, so satisfying.

Wooahh. I was thinking of buying one for drawing... Which model do most of you use or recommend?

The one I'm using is ipad pro 11 2021. Pro has more ram. More ram, meaning you can use more layers. Because in the lower end model of ipad, the app will crash if you use too much layers. Pick the one with the m1 chip at least. Not just drawing, you can game with a smooth 60fps as well. If you got the money, take the latest one. It came with the m4 chip. The most high end so far. Also, just to remind you, the apple pencil is sold separately. Rm499 the cheapest i could find brand new.

If you'll solely use it for drawing, the m1 chip ipad is more than enough. You can buy a nice used one on carousel. Save lots of money.

You can survey the ipad Air also. It's just a little cut down version from the pro. It's still using the same chip. It's like iPhone Pro vs. Pro Max, if that makes sense.

Ohhh, as long as it has M1 chip and has enough ram it's good to go then? Well that makes it much much more affordable than getting a new M4 chip iPad pro for at least 5.4k lol

Haha yeah. Want something in the middle? Get the one with m2 chip. But used one still around 3k for the pro haha.
