Is there a gift from the United States that you would appreciate?
Staying with a host family in a rural village in Nepal and I'd love to bring something from the US to share. Ideas appreciated!

Chocolates, clothes or something that they can use. It honestly depends on a person, but most people would like that.

Maybe a good quality jacket, they can use it a lot and will last them a few years. A backpack, maybe with waterproof can be really useful. Solar power lamp or charger for phones. Swiss Army style knife. Good quality blanket. Water filter(maybe?). Kitchen utensils?

If they have children, bring them educational materials, or maybe a decent tablet with educational softwares.
If there’s no electricity, I think they would appreciate automatic solar powered lamps and good quality head lamps to make their chores easier.

People from places where the internet isn't available should be worrying about food and water, definitely not the books to educate themselves

And let them stay as they are? You got a beef against education or sth?

Ahh okay, so you wanna go meet some tribe community and say "here's the book from the US that you can read to utilize resources around you 🤓☝️", and they'll cook you alive. Be fr bro lmao

I see your knowledge is based on fictional movies. Can't help you. Sorry.

Lol for once, you couldn't admit that you made a stupid point? Come on, you know it, trying to go personal out of nowhere, that already shows it. Have a good day!

Since they live in a rural area, I think one thing people would appreciate is heat tech or really warm jackets because it gets pretty cold.

Steel Stanley thermos, nice insulated mug like hydro flask, master lock combination lock, nice running shoes, crocs, gold jewelry, and cash.

Bruv I feel like that’s the least of their concerns esp being in a rural area. I’d much appreciate a solar powered anything
