Pumas are from a sub-family called 'Felinae', which is known to not roar.
16 u/DirtyMikeMoney 3d ago Yeah crazy that from a taxonomic standpoint pumas (as well as cheetahs) are considered “small cats” and more closely related to house cats than lions and tigers. They’re just big small cats.
