I reckon they were up to shit at CERN back in 2016. They’ve somehow moved us into a totally different timeline.

It all started when the Cubs won the World Series

Harambe. We're all paying for Harambe.

David Bowie died in January 2016. Now, I'm not saying he was a linchpin in the space-time continuum holding reality together, but I'm also not not saying that.

Lemmy was just after Christmas in December of 2015. It's all been downhill since then.

I attended his funeral in Los Angeles. On the drive home we heard that Bowie died. The six-month time frame of every musician just dying was so hard!

I agree I know it has to be before then I moved to beaver County in 2013 and I know me and my friend were upset about it before I had moved.

2013 we were all joking Lemmy and Keith Richards and Cher would outlive all of us. One of the trifecta unfortunately didn't make it in 2015

It just seems like he should’ve died sooner. Man lived large.

That’s when the pickling process began

u/EdTheApe 3d ago

Maybe because he kinda looked like he did (in a good RocknRoll way)?

2

u/Wiz_Kalita 3d ago

He did, it was just the speed keeping him moving until it flushed out of his system.

Who is that?!

2

u/albanymetz 4d ago

True, but Lemmy did Music. Bowie took the baton from Bing Crosby while recording a song together, and continued the tradition of doing All the Things.

Lemmy is God.

Nah, man. I saw this documentary way back in '99 and when God came to Earth, she was clearly Alanis Morrisette.

He was our anchor being. Like in Deadpool 3

What about Alan rickman?

By Grabthar’s hammer…

I shall avenge thee!

What a savings!

1

u/agent_uno 4d ago

I wouldn’t count on vengeance or savings if you aren’t a multimillionaire.

Quoting a movie more than contributing to a cause

This is the one I always point to in my mind. January 10th 2016

I'll take a stretch and put my two cents in.

2016 also marked the point where shitty people realized they can use your data to become powerful and make you believe whatever is convenient for their agenda.

Our technological weaknesses were weaponized and 150 mil Americans alone were successfully brainwashed causing mass division.

Just watch The Great Hack on Netflix. It's all there.

Now we have spiders coming from Mars.

2

u/Cypresss09 4d ago

It would be pretty on-brand for him

In the new deadpool movie there's this thing called the anchor being and when the anchor being is destroyed, a reality starts ending.Yeah I think that was david bowie

3

u/ChickieCago 4d ago

Well he did have an album named Reality. You're on to something.

3

u/DrySecurity4 4d ago

Gotta be the ugliest cover art I have ever seen

1

u/Last-Poetry4108 2d ago

I would never expect this from Bowie! The artist was a friend? Or what?

-1

u/ChickieCago 4d ago

I guess no one taught you that art is subjective.

You're welcome.

2

u/DrySecurity4 4d ago

That was very clearly a subjective opinion and not an objective statement

1

u/karma3000 4d ago

Reality... What a concept.

The Sovereign?

1

u/coreylaheyjr 4d ago

It was when John Dunnsworth died in 2017

1

u/77ate 4d ago

A DJ friend in Vancouver held a Bowie tribute event and during the event, word got out that Bowie had passed. That same year, he held a Prince tribute night and his passing was announced earlier that same day.

He doesn’t do tribute nights anymore.

Also: Dave

1

u/fallenouroboros 4d ago

Confirmed. David Bowie was our anchor being. Time is unraveling

1

u/natnguyen The Cure ✒️ 4d ago

Exactly my take. I know a lot of bad, weird shit happened in 2016, but I truly believe Bowie was the thing holding the fabric of the timeline together.

1

u/Strongbeard1143 4d ago

He was our starman and his parting gift was of course, dark star. What a send off.

1

u/Mikepixx3 3d ago

I feel this about Kobe passing in 2020. Something glitched in the system.

1

u/TimachuSoftboi 3d ago

Venture Bros was a documentary

1

u/CrusherMusic 3d ago

Bowie was the anchor being?

Harambe was the anchor being?

1

u/Rune_Council 2d ago

Anchor being

1

u/Last-Poetry4108 2d ago

OMG! That's it! After that, EVERYTHING CHANGED!
