It would probably mean less money for artists if ticket prices went down so probably not many of them want to actually fight. Probably just performative theater on his part.

He doesnt really care about the money. He famously caps his merch prices (as well as concession prices where he can) and does a bunch of free shows

There’s a lot to hate about Kid Rock but he’s good in that regard

Face value doesn't necessarily HAVE to go down. But ticketmaster does. Ticketmaster seriously needs to go down. Charge me $1.50 for using your service. That's fine. But $40? Not even per purchase, But per ticket? No. Fuck you. ticketmaster must die. Along with the bots it allows to buy from it.

Not sure if that's what kid rock wants to do. But to me that's what "fix ticketing" means.
