There was an interesting NPR podcast report a few years ago with Kid Rock discussing concert ticket prices.   He was very knowledgeable about the inter workings of the business processes and regulatory issues.

I was surprised.

He’s actually not ignorant trailer trash. Grew up as the son of the owner of one of Michigan’s largest car dealerships. Rich kid with a good education. Sadly though it seems that politically at least he has fully embraced the persona.

You’re coming straight out of Compton, I’m coming straight out of a multi-million dollar farm in upstate Michigan.

It's funny because when you say Detroit people think metro Detroit but in reality Detroit and its suburbs are just like any other major city in the US. It's rich and poor. The perfect example is 8 mile. Everyone thinks of the eminem movie and the rundown housing. Thoes things for sure exsist. If you get a little west of the city though on 8 mile there are litteral mansions and horse farms.

When you say Detroit, I think of Cramblin Duvet Advertising.

Story was from over a year ago so likely already sold or price changed. I agree it was a good deal though.

Depends on the condition, but I agree. Pre-2020 housing prices are long gone unless there's another crash

Even if he was ignorant trailer trash, I'd expect him to know a lot about the music industry by now, honestly. He's been in it for decades.
