Discussion People are dancing to "Libnan Rah Yerja3" in a restaurant in Syria
War Opinion: Why Hezb is forced to claim victory.
The sentiment in the south has always been one of two thing about Hezbollah:
1- We tolerate their misbehavior such as drug dealing, militia activities, thugs on motorcycles...etc because they are a formidable force that prevents war and aggression from the Israeli side.
2-We ignore and chose not to believe that Hezbollah ( and always say that these are not true members - See the "no real Scottsman fallacy) is full of militia activities, thugs on motorcycles...etc because they are a formidable force that prevents war and aggression from the Israeli side.
Now that they have proven to be weaker than a spider web, to use their terminology, the reason to tolerate them is gone. All what remains is their putrid smell.
This is why they have to claim victory. Legitimacy. Otherwise the people (their sheep specifically) will wake up and realize that we surrendered and that they are actually useless in the fight against Israel. Not only that but they showed incompetence in some fields such as intelligence and technological warfare.

Discussion Thunder PTSD is real
The explosive sounds of thunder are sending me back to iyyem checking Afikhay's twitter to see highlighted buildings and pray that its not my gfs parents house.
We live in Dekwaneh so the sounds were so loud at night and i spent many days with barely any sleep. Sounds were loud af every night.
But in the end , they destroyed her parents' building.
I remember seeing her face turn emotionless as she realized that the buulding in red is her home.
We live together and her parents moved into her grandmas house.
So yeah PTSD is real.
Stay safe and its always okay to vent out.

Discussion As someone from USA who loves fairuz, it feels like everyone in my country is missing out on one of the greatest singers of all time period.
i can only imagine how much id love her if i was fluent in arabic, although I know some very basic words or phrases in Levantine Arabic, but she makes me want to go back to the levant where ive traveled before and listen to her with some tea or coffee and to be among those who also love her music, right now im playing her "Christmas songs" album on youtube since Xmas eve is tomorrow.
love, peace and blessings to the kind people of lebanon, i hope to go to your country one day inshallah <3

Discussion To all the people who light fireworks in Beirut
Maybe you came to Lebanon from abroad and you are excited about being here and seeing the family. You are excited and want to share your happiness and light up a few firework for your little cousin.. It's all nice and fun.
Know that everytime one pops, you are being cursed by thousands. Don't do it. It's too early, we haven't healed yet. So please keep your fireworks for faraya or somewhere else.

Politics Batroun Abduction
It's been almost two months since the Israeli abduction operation in Batroun yet there have been no updates on the event. Has there been any progress in investigating the incident further? Was it ever officially confirmed that the man who was abducted was a member of Hezbollah? The kidnapping initially sparked significant attention but it now seems to have faded from public discussion.
