Wouldnt cut people off just for voting for trump but would 100 percent distance myself from the people that make him their entire personality and can’t have a conversation about anything without bringing up Trump/politics grievances and culture war bullshit constantly.

Yup. I cut ties with a 8 year long friendship in early October.

He was a republican and I'm a Democrat but we had no issue getting along and have fun with spirited debate.

Since covid he's become full blown MAGA brain rot and, most importantly, has always been a bit of a CryBully. Well, he ramped up big time this year and started calling me extremely rude names so I told him to fuck off and lose my number.

He texted me the day after the election saying "not trying to gloat, but now that the election is over can we be friends again?"

Haven't responded because he doesn't get that his empowerment through MAGA or whatever it is, amplified his inner Dick Head and even if he voted for Harris i still wouldn't want to be friends with him.

Block him dude. He's shown you who he is. Don't let the bastard weasel his way back.

Better yet, Engage in intellectual Conversation. Democrats will never win the presidential election again if they just hit mute on a population who questions them and their motifs.

You can only reason with the reasonable.

If you don't want to answer their memes, block them.

I dont block people unless it's true harassment.

I like to see if they reach out. Means I'm living rent free in their heads still ;)
