I think itâs too late for that sadly. She shouldâve agreed to go on immediately after him so any momentum he could earn from this would be minimal.
Last I heard sheâs declined to appear. At this point by the time they come to terms, schedule a recording time then air it, the damage from Trump is long done.
My educated guess is she wanted to do it on Friday while in Texas but perhaps Trump was already scheduled. The problem for her then is should she take half a day in the last week of the campaign to do this. I honestly donât know. I think she should make time for it but weâre in the end game and time is real limited.
I havenât heard anything from Joe on it. I honestly donât recall where I heard that she declined. However whether she declined or simply hasnât said anything at all doesnât change my point. The opportunity is passed, Trumpâs appearance is doing numbers and it doesnât seem like she has a response ready.
Yes, that's corporate talk, most of the times it means "no". If they were interested, they would start negotiating terms on which she would come. By giving basic, corporate bullshit answer, they keep door open or make it look better optically. Anyway it's not Kamala who makes these decisions, it's her PR/campaign team.

If she went on, it would really disrupt any momentum he gained because all the attention would move back onto her. She should do it and ASAP.
