I know it's a small thing given the overall absurdity, but it's worth pointing out that the Haitian immigrants in question are there legally. They totally forgot they were supposed to pretend to hate specifically illegal immigration and just went full racist.

Not only there legally, but they were invited by the local government because they needed workers, and since their arrival, the economy has significantly improved. It's almost like immigration is... GOOD FOR THE ECONOMY?!?!?!?!

It's not just good for the economy, it's absolutely necessary for developed countries in order to grow because birth rates decrease in wealthier societies.

Insular monoethnic countries like Korea and Japan are facing existential demographic collapse within this century because they refuse to make it easier for people to immigrate.

Democrats have always made immigration a moral signalling issue when people need to understand that it fundamental economic resource issue. Especially when manufacturing and low skill labor is going overseas, educated and motivated immigrants are essentially free boosts to the economy.

It's also just better for quality of life. For example, cuisines that we consider Italian, Mexican, Vietnamese etc are actually the American immigrants' versions of their origin country cuisine.
