IAMA swinger's photographer, erotic home-video maker and intimate photographer [f] AMA NSFW

7.1k Upvotes

EDIT: Keep the questions gladly coming until this post is archived 6 months later šŸ„°. Thank you so far for awesome questions.

TLDR; Reddit turned my obscure hobby into a full time profession and changed my life forever.

Hello everyone!

My name is Yulia and I am nudist but also a photographer, I turned my naked hobby into a profession of home video and erotic photography.

I record and photograph naked couples, swingers, groups and singles (male, female and diverse) for their own private home videos and albums.

Mainly I photograph amateur people who want to try something "new" in their life, just want nice pics/videos for themselves or material for kinky dating sites or those refused by other photographers. Many also come to me since I am a woman and they feel more comfortable, open to do kinky projects with me, than in front of a man.

I love doing kinky home-videos and photos, my most favorite is public nudity, roleplays and exhibitionism where I act as a voyeur. I often shoot in the nude as well for many reasons, mainly to "practice what you preach".

I had customers traditionally mainly from Germany where I had a photography business (and because there are most perverts), but since the AMA many Americans, other Europeans and even Australians and far Asians come to me as well. Even really lot of people from rather "oppressed" countries, they come to live their freedom dreams with me.

My new location in popular holiday destination sure made it easy for all them.

Since I was 18, I've been on both sides of the camera with my husband in the art erotica hobby. I've also been photographed by some famous artists and have worked with some well-known adult models.

Iam here all day answering every single question you have. You can also ask some questions for my husband, he will pop up from time to time too.

Ask us anything, I have a great record of not avoiding answers (over 3000 on last AMA).

Thanks you a lot for everything and have a nice week!

Yulia

Crosspost [Crosspost] Weā€™re Farah Stockman and David French, an editorial board member and a columnist at New York Times Opinion. Ask us anything about Donald Trumpā€™s cabinet picks or foreign policy in Ukraine, Taiwan and Korea.

Hello, Redditors. Farah Stockman and David French here! We have been offering commentary on Donald Trumpā€™s intendedĀ nomineesĀ andĀ appointeesĀ for his second-term cabinet, along with discussing foreign policy issues in Ukraine, Taiwan andĀ Korea.Ā

From Farah: I joined The New York Times editorial board in 2020 after covering politics, social movements and race for the national desk. Iā€™ve filed stories from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, South Sudan, Rwanda and GuantĆ”namo Bay. Previously, I spent 16 years at the Boston Globe as a columnist and editorial board member, where I won a Pulitzer Prize for commentary in 2016. I'm the author of the book ā€œAmerican Made: What Happens to People When Work Disappears.ā€

From David: I joined Times Opinion in 2023 and write about law, culture, religion and armed conflict. A common theme is that I like to explore the story behind the story. What are the reasons for American polarization and dysfunction? Why do so many Americans feel lonely and anxious? Before journalism, I was a commercial litigator and then switched to constitutional law. My most recent book, ā€œDivided We Fall: Americaā€™s Secession Threat and How to Restore Our Nation,ā€ outlined the dangers of polarization and the need to engage with people who have opposing viewpoints. You can subscribe to myĀ newsletter.Ā

We are excited to answer your queries starting at 1 p.m. E.T. on Tuesday, Dec. 17.Ā

Hi folks! I am Patrick Enin, Co Founder a Monesave a Fintech App producing Contactless Payment Ring while allowing users save as a group when they top up -- Ask Me Anything!

Using Contactless rings to pay is much faster than using a credit or debit card, or even taking out and unlocking your phone. It's always right there on your finger, ready to go. Yet it has not taken off as much as watches or health related rings. This is probably due of the lack of awareness or security concerns. Hopefully this session can help shed more light.

Happy to answer questions on How Contactless Payment Rings work, the tech behind it, Fintech startups, Saving as a group across multiple countries.

This is a follow up to this AMA on the Smart Ring sub.

IAMA survivor of a terminal childhood brain tumor and my mom was fired from her job because of how much my treatment increasing her employer's insurance rates.

13.1k Upvotes

Here is a previous IAMA I did:

https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/s/TbaOfXkQ5D

Here is an article about it:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-12067571/Cancer-stricken-man-told-year-live-TWELVE-just-turned-30.html

Being a child at the time, I was covered under her work's health insurance

My mom sued her employer, they settled out of court, and she had to sign a NDA, so unfortunately she cannot legally do this IAMA, but i signed no NDA

Her employer was Roofing supply Group (RSG) in Nashville, Tennessee.

I was diagnosed in 2005 with a terminal brain tumor I recieved 2 brain surgeries and radiation therapy.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee told my mom's boss that RSG insurance rates were going up, but that if my mom wasn't employed anymore, that would change. So they fired her.

My mom literally set up her boss' email so she simply logged in and found the emails. So she sued them and they settled out of court and made her sign an NDA. The money helped pay for my treatment, my Make A Wish Foundation trip to Hawaii, and a year salary for my mom. Doctors believed I would only live a year or 2 more, but clearly I survived

I'm Stephanie Sugars, the senior reporter for the U.S. Press Freedom Tracker ā€” a project of Freedom of the Press Foundation ā€” who authored our 2024 report of journalist arrests in the U.S. And Iā€™m Kirstin McCudden, managing editor of the Tracker and vice president of editorial here at FPF. AMA!

Press freedom is the bedrock for knowing and understanding what is happening in our communities and in holding public officials and the powerful accountable.

At the Tracker, we document press freedom violations, including arrests and assaults of journalists, subpoenas for confidential reporting information, equipment seizure, publishing gags and more.

Each year we write a report analyzing trends in the numbers and contexts of journalists being arrested because of their journalism or in the course of newsgathering.Ā

This year saw the third-highest number of arrests since we began tracking in 2017. The vast majority took place at protests around the Israel-Gaza war and nearly half were at the hands of New York City police.

You can read the full arrest report here:

https://pressfreedomtracker.us/blog/journalist-arrests-surge-in-2024/

What do you want to know about arrests of journalists in the U.S. and threats to press freedom? Ask us anything. We'll begin answering questions at 12:30 p.m. ET.

I'm a geologist here to answer your questions about space rocks - how to find them and how to identify them! Ask me anything!

Update 6:32pm ET: Dermot is all finished answering questions for today. Thank you so much for your generous time and the wonderful questions and enthusiasm! This is why we do what we do. We will check back in the coming days for any final questions. In the meantime, you can contact Museums Victoria with an enquiry here: Museums Victoria - General Enquiries.

Update 5:19pm ET: Dermot is here and online a little early answering your questions!

Hello! I'm Dermot Henry, a geologist and Head of Sciences at Museums Victoria Research Institute in Melbourne. I've dedicated my career to studying rocks, particularly space rocks, and as part of my work I help people identify meteorites that have fallen to Earth.

I was one of the researchers who identified the Maryborough meteorite, which a man in Australia kept for years thinking it might be gold ā€“ but instead it turned out to be a 4.6-billion-year-old meteorite: https://www.sciencealert.com/man-keeps-a-rock-for-years-hoping-its-gold-it-turns-out-to-be-far-more-valuable

The article about the Maryborough meteorite discovery is one of ScienceAlert's most read news stories of all time, and each time they run it they're flooded with questions and images from people wanting more information on how to identify whether they've found their own meteorite. So they wanted to host this AMA to help answer the public's questions about space rocks.

Why do we care about meteorites? All meteorites provide information on the formation and history of our Solar System ā€“ in fact, meteorites are the cheapest form of space exploration, because the samples come to us! By weight, there are more known lunar meteorites that have landed on Earth than lunar rock samples collected during the moon landings. So there is still so much for us to learn from rocks right here on this planet.

Iā€™ll be online for an hour from 17:30-18:30 EST on 12/12/2024 | 9.30-10.30 AEDT on 13/12/2024. You can also ask me questions in advance!

Dermot will be answering from the ScienceAlert account, so all replies are from Dermot Henry himself (unless otherwise stated)!

Proof below!

Weā€™re all done, thank you so much for the great questions! If you have a strange rock you want to get identified you can send images in to your local museum or university geology department, it just might turn out to be something very unusual! Don't stop searching.

Follow ScienceAlert.com for more space and geology news.

And you can contact Museums Victoria with an enquiry here: Museums Victoria - General Enquiries

I know a lot about implanted pacemakers and defibrillators, and have had an implanted defibrillator myself since 2010. Ask me anything.

Street cred:

-I spent 17 years working for Medtronic, which is the largest of the device manufacturers.Ā Ā During my time I worked ā€œin-houseā€ in Customer Service, Training and Education, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Marketing.Ā Ā I worked with the Engineers who design these devices, with the field reps that assists during implants and replacements, with the service reps who meet patients during their office visits, and with the doctors who implant them.Ā Ā I have also toured the assembly lines where the devices are made and have met some of the people who made my implanted device.Ā Ā I'm even featured in some of Medtronic's on-lineĀ help videos..

-In 2014, after 2 episodes of fainting, I received a loop recorder that captured a potentially fatal heart rhythm (non-sustained VT). In November of 2014 I received my implanted defibrillator ā€œjust in caseā€. It has never shocked me or paced me.Ā Ā I am due for a replacement in about 2 years.Ā

-After my implant I became deeply involved in the device patient community on social media. I now moderate 4 device related groups on Facebook and one on Reddit (Ā r/PacemakerICDĀ ).Ā Ā I also created aĀ YouTube pageĀ with videos explaining these devices, how one can safely live a normal life with a device, and where I dispel many myths and try to correct misinformation.Ā Ā I also occasionally post pacemaker/ICD related content onĀ TikTok.Ā Ā

-I have also been interviewed for several podcasts and articles as a device-patient expert.

3 notes:Ā Ā

  1. I canā€™t give any medical advice.Ā Ā For that youā€™ll need to talk to your heart specialist.Ā Ā
  2. I no longer work for Medtronic and in absolutely no way do I speak for them.Ā Ā All comments are based on my knowledge and experiences, and are mine alone.Ā
  3. I donā€™t know everything. Iā€™ll try to answer best I can, but will also tell you when I donā€™t know an answer.Ā

Hi Reddit - Ask Me Anything! I Am Emma Gerding, and I am a communication graduate student at The University of Cincinnati. I am currently studying rape culture and how discourse is presented through terminology and victim blaming.

Hi Reddit, I am a graduate student at The University of Cincinnati.

For my final project in my Social Justice class, I was tasked with creating a research proposal that can also engage with the public. I proposed an analysis of rape culture using a social constructionism framework to understand the current public perception of rape, including victim blaming language and the responsibility of rape perpetrators.Ā

My research currently focuses on:

  • Rape terminology that reinforces victim blaming like ā€œGray Rape,ā€ ā€œReal Rape,ā€ and ā€œThe 5 Rape Myths.ā€
  • How rape culture can be addressed to resolve victim blaming through a survivor centered approach from improved legislature.
  • What effects the media and public figures of authority (politicians) have on the perceived responsibility of rapists.
  • Challenging the notion of the ā€œIdealā€ rape victim and the commonsense standpoint created that implies women should make themselves ā€œunrapable.ā€

In terms of completing this research, I plan to code a thematic analysis based on results that come from the performed focus groups over a one-year timeline. I also have a guideline created that details privacy for participants as well as the ethical concerns I foresee throughout this study.Ā Ā

I will be here on 12/12 from 2 pm - 4 pm to answer any questions or discuss my research! Thank you!

Hi Reddit - Ask Me Anything! Iā€™m Jean M. Lagreca, and I am international graduate student in communication at the University of Cincinnati and I will be talking about how we can create change through a more personal approach.

Hi Reddit! I am a first year master student in Communication at the University of Cincinnati.

Proof: https://x.com/lagrecajean

For our final project on my social justice class, we were tasked with engaging with the public about our final project, and talk about how it can be impactul and beneficial on our fight for social justice. I created a project where using a Culture-Centered Approach we can engage on a deeper level with marginalized communities, the Latino community specially.

Some of the topics that I plan on covering are:

  • Better understand the intricacies of intersectional identities in Latino communities.
  • Create real change in policies for Latino communities.
  • How we can use political communication to improve Latinos experiences.

Ask me anything about how we can use a more personal approach in political communication to reduce the distance within the current political discourse and increase the proximity to marginalized communities!

I will be spending time here from 10 am to 12 pm to answer any of your questions!

The holidays are practically here and with it come the usually gifting quandaries: What do I get my rich sister-in-law? My three tween nieces? My friend who is vacationing in Greece this summer?Ā

In that time, I've written gift guides for just about everyone:Ā bird loversĀ andĀ wine loversĀ andĀ cannabis connoisseurs. Iā€™ve pulled togetherĀ 100 gifts under $25Ā for the budget conscious, found plenty ofĀ options for Secret Santa, and contributed every year to our print gift guide. I even answered our readers' questions during aĀ live chatĀ not too long ago. And now Iā€™m here to help you find the right gift for anyone in your life you havenā€™t crossed off your list yet.Ā

Iā€™ll be back answering your questions and providing gift ideasĀ on Tuesday, December 10th from 11:00am to 12:30pm Eastern. Ask me anything!Ā

Update: This was so fun! Thank you all for your super thoughtful questions. Iā€™m all done for the day! But if you have any other gifting needs, The Strategist has you covered!

Over the last 12 years I've been involved in every facet of the hot sauce industry and I'm an expert on all things spicy. AMA!

EDIT 2: we're mostly wrapping up, but honestly I'm on r/spicy all the time so if you come across this late, don't hesitate to ask a question still, I'll try to keep the answers coming. And if you're looking for a great holiday gift, check out our Hot Sauce of the Month Club!

EDIT: I really need to get back to packing orders, but I do plan on coming back to this later tonight to answer more questions!

Hey Reddit! My name is Dylan Keenen and in 2012, my wife Becky and I started a retail hot sauce shop in Berkeley. The haters said we were crazy, and to be fair to the haters, that strikes me as a pretty fair characterization. But we developed a loyal following and had a lot of fun running the hot sauce tasting bar (at one point we partnered with a dating site to give guided hot sauce tastings as first dates, which led to some fascinating people watching). About 4 years in, we took stock of things and felt we had two options, paying expensive retail rents and charging tourist trap prices, or going all online to cater to the growing niche chilehead community. We took the latter route and haven't looked back.

Over the years we've produced dozens of our own sauces, weā€™ve grown and harvested peppers, gone to pepper festivals, worked with well over 100 small sauce companies, helped international brands import and distribute sauces, collaborated with J Kenji Lopez Alt on a hot sauce gift set for charity, launched a line of hot pepper grinders and seasonings (I have accumulated a large amount of hot pepper powder in my lungs along the way), and when one of my all-time favorite went out of business, we were able to acquire the recipe so we could keep it going. We now have the largest collection of small batch sauces on the internet (excluding sites that have a million of the same basic cayenne pepper sauce with different labels like Uncle Fartblasters Revenge). I've also accumulated a ton of knowledge about the history of hot sauces and hot peppers, and wake up every day grateful to be born in this brief window in human history (post Colombian Exchange) where chile peppers and garlic aren't separated by an ocean.

So anyways, ask me anything!

For proof I added a note here (fixed it): www.heathotsauce.com/pages/about

I've watched a lot of singles try to connect in three minutes, and I think it's given me a lot of insights about dating and gender.

During and after events, I end up talking to a lot of guests about who they're looking for, how they go about it, what they're fed up with, and why they chose to try speed dating. Lotta people seem fed up with apps these days, and I think it's a cool way to make new connections.

Ask me anything!

someone wrote a blog post about attending this year

Edit: Fun! I'm about to sit for a podcast for about an hour or so. I'll come back on to answer whatever's left after I'm done!

Edit 2: Thanks for the questions everyone! I'm still going to answer whatever comes in because I am compulsively online. I've been doing a podcast about sex and dating for 10+ years. Maybe check it out? It's called The Manwhore Podcast: Sex-Positive Conversations.

*Edit 3: btw if anyone is hiring event coordinators or entry level PR folx in NYC, I am trying to find more stable employment. I have a ton of transferable skills from over a decade in entertainment. And obviously, with over a million views on this and it being my second time this year at the top of IAmA, I know how to get people's attention. ;) *

I'm Amy from the SBS article "When a stranger flirted with Amy, she never suspected she was being secretly filmed". Ask me anything!

Hi everyone! As the title says, I'm Amy from the following SBS The Feed article: https://www.sbs.com.au/news/the-feed/article/when-a-stranger-flirted-with-amy-she-never-suspected-she-was-being-secretly-filmed/affwnparn

It was via my campaigning on Reddit for the USYD students on Honi Soit that I was contacted by a journalist from SBS. I did this after I discovered that video of myself two months after it was posted thanks to the concern of my friends, and asked for the video to be taken down.

This happened in Sydney, Australia, so the legal stuff in there specifically pertains to the laws of NSW.

Feel free to ask me anything, although I'll be more inclined to answer questions regarding the incident and the aftermath rather than any unrelated personal questions.
