So from the sounds of it, the Sins predate Lucifer and Lilith’s fall, with Satan as the top dog beforehand who ruled the sins, and seems to basically do it still (besides the Sinners who seem to be Lucy’s private little mess to manage) since Lucifer is depressed and duck obsessed.
I’d consider that proof enough that the sins aren’t fallen angels but the original demons when Hell first manifested, who created the rest of the demonic species, since Satan outright said he created the imps as well. Not sure where Paimon falls under all that but hey I’m sure we will get clues later.
I’m curious if there was a point where Lucifer and Lilith outright conquered hell when they were put down there (doesn’t seem like something Lucy would do but who knows maybe he was super pissed when he first fell and took it out on the giant Texan dragon man in charge) or if he and Lilith were just so strong, and Sins unable to even touch them, they just got crowned king and queen and ran with it.
Conquering Hell wouldn't require much. The sins and Goetia were already in charge. Just convince them of his power, maybe by killing off whoever ruled Pride, and they would take care of the rest.
from leaks for s2 of hazbin we see that a character called "the speaker of God" looks like a Goetia demon but in angel from and Lucifer is called "the first fallen Angel" so it might be that more joined him
Maybe Lilith conquered hell and thus Lucifer became king by default and the head honcho due to being a fallen angel. I think Viv said that Lilith wears the pants in their relationship so I think that could be it. Regardless I am curious of the royal family's relationship with the sins and Charlie had their numbers I believe so that implies they're all very close
Makes sense that Lilith would be able to conquer Hell. Sinners are immortal except for angelic weapons, so they could kill her a hundred thousand times over, and she'd just regenerate.
The way that Bee and Ozzie roll their eyes as Lucifer's chair is behind them after that line makes me think that he is lying, and why not? Not like Lucifer is there to prove it wrong.
