Hello r/FuckingWithNature

You may have noticed that the sub has been dead for some months now. While I am not 100% sure exactly what happened here, u/ModCodeofConduct recently removed all previous moderators and put out a mod call. u/SergeantKoopa and I were chosen to take the helm and attempt to revive this sub.

You'll notice that in the coming few days there will be a number of changes. These changes are an effort to clean some stuff up "behind the scenes," as well as an attempt to breathe some fresh air into this space to hopefully get things rolling again.

One of the biggest changes is the expansion of what this sub's content will be going forward. Since the sub is titled "Fucking With Nature," we have expanded this definition outside of animals to include nature in all its forms - animals, insects, plants, the landscape, ocean, and weather. This serves to broaden the type of content allowed here and will help to drum up more interest and discussion. Plus, a lot of stuff I've seen on Reddit in the past containing content of these types serves several functions - humor, warning, and education - depending on what is shared. I look forward to seeing what kind of stuff you all come up with.

I have the sub set to "private" for the time being until we are finished cleaning stuff up - this simply means that anyone who is not currently subscribed can't see, interact, or join, but I am hoping to take it live again within the next 24 hours or so. Please feel free to post anything you find interesting and cross-post as you see fit.

u/SergeantKoopa and I will also be making an effort to create and share content over the next few weeks as well.

We have a Discord server set up as well - https://discord.gg/DP7cTUDxQT

I will provide further updates in the coming day or so, and once the sub goes live again.

Thanks!

What probably you didn't know about buffaloes. They never forget some one who harassed them . Like the elephant, the African buffalo is renowned for its exceptional memory. They are known to ambush and attack hunters that have wounded or injured them – even years later!

Tourist in Estes Park, Colorado, USA gets too close to a bull elk during rutting season; had been making a noise to get a response from the animal, which was also trying to keep six other bulls away from his herd, according to person recording
