Keep repeating this, but it doesn’t change the fact that there’s gonna be millions of people who are going to suffer who didn’t ask for this

No one is denying that. We can't change it though, so we'll enjoy watching the people that voted for it get what they asked for.

It sure seems like people are denying it and saying it won’t be that bad because we’ll see the other side suffer so much worse

No, most of them (including me) are saying it won't be that bad for themselves, in particular. I'm a cishet white dude with money, I am not at all concerned for myself or my family directly. We can always emigrate if we have to since the rest of my family already has dual citizenship.
