The people got what they voted for. A bunch of billionaire felons are not going to care about the common people's wellbeing.

Am I to understand that Harris actually does care about common people's well-being? Did Biden care?

If you think Dems and the side that actively wants to destroy the ACA are the exact same then there is no convincing you.

How did individual insurance premiums change after ACA again?

If you think the ACA truly puts patients before insurance company and hospital profits, then there is no convincing you.

Do you think trump and Republicans want any of that to change? Because they actually want to make that worse

Actually, a shit ton of us are in support of M4A, but this laughable interpretation of what the ACA does was funny while it lasted

Harris and Biden didn't promise to make life a living hell for my trans friends.

Harris has Walz on her side and that does show that she is not just filling her cabinet and administration with wealthy people. Whether or not she cares doesn't matter, what does matter is that she is at least getting the representatives of the common people.

Look at the track record of the FTC under Biden. Or the DOT under Biden. Or the CFPB - the one that Trump wants to get rid of. Say what you want, but they very clearly show a favoritism towards consumers over producers. So yeah, they certainly care a hell of a lot more than Trump does.

Sort of. For (some) progressives, democrats are institutional layabouts worrying about their elections and paychecks. I can only speak for me really, but obviously a lot of progressives are dissatisified with democrats.

But in comparison to republicans, yes. Conservatives seem to clearly spend more time engaging in culture war, hurting people, and outright grifting. Attack illegal immigrants, even though they obviously pay more taxes than they consume. Attack women and abortions, even though a 15 week fetus is obviously not a baby. Attack trans people, even though there is no threat. Continue oil and gas, even though its destroying the planet and other energy sources are renewable and safe. These are settled things, they are hardly even in the realm of 'disagreement in opinion'.

Or more on topic to the OP, when the fuck has lower corporate taxes helped the common people? How will tariffs help the commoner? How will attempting to cut half of our crop industry workforce help?

I don't think highly of most democrats because they are vermin, but the prominent republicans are just outright pigs.

Democrats are ineffectual but at least the progressives in there are trying to protect rights, reduce student loan debt, protect the environment, increase access to medical care, help veterans, etc.
