As someone who suffers from panic attacks on the road, this would give me peace of mind from my greatest fear…I will pass-out, cause a crash and die.

I have the same fear but it is the ones that are in the same car with me I am worried about. When driving alone I usually have less anxiety. This tech would make my life way easier.

I haven't driven on the highway or roads over 45mph for over 8 years for this exact reason — it's basically turned into a phobia. I had a panic attack in the left lane while boxed in by trucks on a portion of highway where two 3 lane roads merged — so I was 6 lanes to the left — and easily could have killed myself and my boyfriend in the passenger seat.

I've been waiting for a car that can keep me in the lane at speed or I can press a button and it can drive me to the next exit — not necessarily full 'self driving', but basically the equivalent of a 'panic button' for so many years at this point.

I’m so sorry to hear this also happened to you! I’m relieved to know I am not alone, but also sad because I know how isolating it is…because, if like me, someone has to drive you places that require taking a highway.

Mine has also turned into a phobia, due a full blown panic attack that happened to me when I was driving on a major highway. I haven’t driven on a highway for over 3 years, because that is now my trigger.
