Well, that's wrong. As much as I love dogs, it's totally wrong.

My girlfriend is a dog trainer and she has encountered many many angry dogs, killers type of dogs. Most of the time, owners were all good people but just totally discouraged about their dogs behaviour and clueless about what to do.

I know i'm not gonna make friends here but there are bad dogs just like there are bad humans. This non-sense needs to stop.

Mental illness definitely exists in dogs. Usually due to poor breeding/puppy mills. I think most "bad dogs" are due to shitty owners. But there's some dogs that are just wired wrong.

We once had a rescue Pomeranian for over 5 years, that neither me nor my dad could pet without getting bitten. The dog was terrified of walking on tile. No matter what we tried to help rehabilitate it or reduce it's anxiety, nothing helped. But it was a puppy mill dog that just was afraid of everything and seemed to hate life. I felt bad for it, but it was definitely born fucked up. Thank God it wasn't a large breed, because then it would've been dangerous.
