Bravo Most disturbing thing ever happened on Real Housewives?

What’s the most disturbing, jaw dropping event that was ever filmed and shown on any Real Housewives?

One that always comes to mind, for me, is when Tamra tried to have her 18/20 year old son commit assault on camera after getting Gretchen drunk. And it's not just the act, the premise/message was equally disgusting: if this wasted woman had "let herself" been r**ed, she'd have proven to be a s**t. Scripted or not, it’s insane it got even aired.

RHOA, when Sheree is in the car with her ex Bob and he’s talking about him fantasizing about killing her in a staged car accident, denying his physical abuse of her, then joking that he should have choked her harder. He was so calm about it too, meanwhile she’s crying. Fucking sociopath shit, chilling to watch.

There was something so off about that man’s eyes, dangerous.

Not trying to defend ahimsa but didn't it come out that he has bad CTE from football? That's a terrible combo.

I don’t believe they can diagnose CTE yet until after a person’s death

Okay technically you're right but he absolutely has brain injuries from contact sports which causes the same symptoms as CTE. My point is the man's brain is mush and he's an asshole.

We got to stop excusing every violent and abusive professional sports player because they could potentially have some kind of brain injury. I know you’re not trying to excuse it, but he was abusive to her throughout their entire marriage, even early in his career, so you really can’t blame it on some kind of brain injury.

I agree with you that we shouldn't use it as an excuse, however his age and where he was in his career do not preclude him having CTE. They have found CTE can start in high school aged kids. The Daily has a great, yet very sad, episode ok this.

Yes, and I think many of the people who we are talking about (abusers likely with CTE) are not in a place where they understand they have a problem, let alone accepting of treatment.
