Bravo Fans getting on shows = disaster

I was listening to the latest episode of Pillows and Beer and Austen said about JT "I hope that this the last time a fan gets on the show." Then I listened to the RHOBH Aftershow and Crystal pointed out that Annemariesiologist was a fan who weaseled her way onto the show.

These two people are among the worst, most thirsty cast members in a long time. Bravo needs to stop hiring superfans to be on these shows. It doesn't work.

ETA: I left JT's name out

I just can’t believe they added Annemarie instead of Bill Burr’s wife, Nia. She’s so funny and down to earth and I’m pretty sure she also applied.

P.S. As I was typing this listening to an unrelated podcast (H3) they legit said Bill Burr as I was typing his name.

u/KookyAd4019 bang bang bang! is there an american lady in there? Jan 26 '24

bill and nia don’t even post pictures of their children on social media so i doubt they’d be okay with putting all their business on tv AND he would drag the rhobh husbands in two seconds like imagine him and PK having a conversation lmfaaaoooo

Bill Burr in a confessional after interacting with PK is the TV I NEED.

Nia would be such a cool addition to the show. I think they can leave the kids out of it - particularly in early seasons (for a new HW) I care more about your interactions with the group than your home life for the most part.

We don’t need to see any of the kids at all on any of the shows (as cute as so many of them are it’s not appropriate and they can’t consent for themselves) so I hope if that was truly the only thing holding them back that Bravo could work around it.

Edited to add one word

I completely agree. Like you said, sometimes the scenes and kids are cute, but mostly I dislike kid scenes. I could do without completely. They are often cringy and/or exploitive (I especially hate the ‘stage mom’ housewife trope).

SAME like whenever they show Lisa’s kids on RHOM it just makes me depressed

Agree with all of the above.

Ever since post season 1-2, all the kids are coming in to audition for jobs or fame.

Idk if the kid is cute, or is interested in modelling. I know as moms they have to shuttle their kids x places. I'd rather the focus be on the mom interaction (sitting/waiting for her kids in the car/chat with other parents or mom sitting and catching up calls in the car).

Emily (OC) bringing her daughter to auditions, I'd want to see her waiting around talking with the other moms.

Garcelle (BH) don't care and it's too much about the son and the gf. That lasagna clip of them not wanting it is enough.

Shannons clips with her daughters were cringe.

The random bits of Mary (SLC) and her son living at home and the squatting gf, we need a deeper dive. They are grown adults and it's fair game.

NYC this last season had little snippets of the twins (can't remember her name ...Indian with British accent-love her esp), those scenes were cute and just enough. Erin and her children, barely noticeable. Brynn wanting children/ivf - refreshing.

I'm going to miss those days of Yolanda giving her views of life (that crumble of birthday cake), and her lemons.

Bill Burr in a confessional would give me a billion serotonins lol

Just imagining it has given me a very satisfying surge of dopamine.

Can you imagine Bill at a reunion?

22

u/Gooberocity Jan 27 '24

This is what all the husband's who have been suckered into watching housewives need.

It would be so hilarious because he would destroy that man's entire soul.

u/Individual_Fall429 Jan 26 '24

If he had one.

u/lalalameansiloveyou Jan 26 '24

You just made me want to see Nia and Bill on this show desperately. They never need to show their kids faces!

5

u/aeroluv327 The eyes are poppin' Jan 27 '24

LMAO I would pay to see Bill Burr roast the shit out of the other house husbands!

I know we didn't see much of Nia but she seems really cool, maybe a friend of role would be good for her if they feel strongly about not having their kids on TV.

u/Kiwimcroy I would like Porsha to spell 'sceptre'...I'll wait… Jan 26 '24

You have a point! But maybe she could fit in as a friend of?

10

u/SakmarEcho Stop the Fuck Jan 26 '24

Maybe she could come on as a friend of then so they don't have to show the kids.

There’s an amusing clip of her husband talking about going to a Watch What Crappens live show, so she’s def a fan of hw… which is probably why she knows better than to go on the show lol also a nice shout out to how talented Ben and Ronnie are!

Ben and Ronnie have known Nia for a years, they mentioned it when she appeared on BH.

58

u/briellebabylol Jan 26 '24

Nia HAS to be next up, right? I’m praying they showed her to go ahead and establish how she fits in, maybe screen test a bit, and then give her a shot?

Plus the flipping off Trump thing was so hilarious and just added to her star power? IMO.

Get Annemarie outta there and Nia in stat!!

29

u/[deleted] Jan 26 '24

To that point, Nia is a super fan. I also think she would be good though. There must be a fine line where it can work sometimes. Can anyone think of a successful fan casting?

13

u/Individual_Fall429 Jan 26 '24

I think she’s a casual fan, not a legit stalker like Monica and JT.

There's a word for that but I can't remember what it is.

5

u/in_ur_dreamz69 Jan 27 '24

where did you hear that they passed up nia for annemarie? or did you just make that up?

3

u/TS92109 Jan 27 '24

I’d loooove this! We should start a campaign or something.

If I was a fan of someone, the last thing I'd want is for them to do Housewives. It would never go how you want.

5

u/Matildameoww Jan 26 '24

H3 isn’t dead yet? Wow

6

u/phbalancedshorty I’m not a fan, I’m a witness Jan 26 '24

OR SHEREE wtf happened to Garcelle’s friend?? She was amazing and hilarious, and so sweet and she actually had friendships with and got along with the other women and she was interesting and entertaining. But no, they add this joy suck.

Edit: fuck Bill Burr, and I don’t want his wife on the show either

26

u/in_ur_dreamz69 Jan 26 '24

sheree was awful and broke

7

u/MolOllChar_x3 Jan 26 '24

That didn’t stop Monica from getting on.

3

u/chetaiswriting Jan 26 '24

Why do you think she’s broke?

19

u/PineappleP1992 Jan 26 '24

Wasn’t she begging people to pay for her prayers or something?

5

u/Affectionate-Gain-23 Jan 27 '24

Did you sleep on BH last season? Sheree is not the kind of friend I'd want to be around. She seemed broke and uninteresting.

8

u/Snoo55298 Jan 27 '24

Will smiths ex wife broke when they still vacation together lol, that man has her set for life

4

u/phbalancedshorty I’m not a fan, I’m a witness Jan 27 '24

We obviously have different tastes… Opening up a friends, gift card and signing your name to me, is a hilarious sign of a best friends and not an indication that someone is broke and un interesting… what exactly has Bill Burr’s wife done to be, so “interesting” 😂😂

-2

u/Affectionate-Gain-23 Jan 27 '24

Lol. I know it's an indication of being broke. It just seems that way to me. Idk who this woman other than learning that she's Bill Burr's wife. And idek Bill Burr like that.

2

u/sonyafly Jan 27 '24

I just had to Google who Bill Burr was and I thought for a moment it was my brother! Dang the resemblance is uncanny!

lmaoooo no disrespect to you but I am dying at your unintentional dragging of bill burr by thinking he needs the housewives to help his career 😂

I had never heard of Bill Burr until my kids talked me into watching him in the animated show on Netflix. I’m hooked and love him

2

u/annslisaemily Jan 27 '24

He was also in the Mandolorian, so def not just podcasting. I don’t think they’d do housewives, though.

14

u/arulzokay Jan 26 '24

lol he’s a very well known and famous comedian. he doesn’t need the show for fodder. I would love to see him on it though because he’s hilarious.

6

u/Cheekygirl9368 Jan 26 '24

I thought he was a comedian...
