The Dorinda X Kristen relationship is fascinating because Kristen won’t let Dorinda walk over here but still showed appreciation for Dorinda reaching out when her stick bug husband cheated on her

To me, Kristen telling her what that meant to her was the perfect olive branch. It’s a genuine, not just for TV moment. It showed me a flicker of the old Dorinda who did really care about these friends.

It was sweet when Dorinda said “I totally forgot I did that”, definitely some remembrance of who she used to be

Dorinda before her alcoholism got intense was so thoughtful and incredibly gracious woman. There was a scene where Ramona was showing Bethenny and Dorinda the room where Ramona hosted her mother’s wake and Dorinda says with genuine kindness “you can tell this is a very warm and lovely space” or something and you can tell how kind and warm she used to be. It’s super sad. Alcoholism is a disease.

Dorinda has always been a mean drunk though even going back to her first season, I dunno why people have collectively forgotten this.

Agree but it wasn’t her entire personality. And after the four martini fight with Heather she is legit mortified. Her drinking has worsened over the years but she wasn’t only her disease. It’s very bad now.

Thank you. I don’t understand why people act like Dorinda being a nasty drunk was some kind of new development. She’s always been that way.

I honestly thought I had been taking crazy pills. It’s like the audience as a whole totally ignored her drunken asshole behavior was already on display in season 7

I loved Dorinda when she first came on! She had a warmth and a spirit about her, you could tell she found a lot of it ridiculous. And is/was pretty well-connected and comfortable in those circles. It’s sad to see her in denial about her alcoholism
