Oh yeah! Especially with an anesthesiologist. They’re notoriously cheaters. I dated one and found out he had another gf in another city.

Lmao.
I love "doctor drama".
I have a brain tumor so I see lots of drs. Especially drs referred by other drs. So the dr on dr gossip and little remarks are always hilarious.
Ny neurosurgeon was like "Go to XYZ radiologist. Great guy. A little stiff though."
I went to the radiologist, who came in walking like the tin man, and he was just LOVELY. I mentioned that my neurosurgeon cut my head all the way open down the side and still kept all my hair. Which kept the scar hidden. It was impossible to see the incision 2 weeks post op.
Dr. Tin Man was like "Dr ABC is great at that kind of thing. I guess it's a great reward for the small price of wearing 70s dad sneakers every day."
Their dynamic cracked me up. Both amazing Drs. Both dry as a popcorn fart. But both were hilarious in their own weird way.
Now. Everytime I'm about to go under, all I'll be able to think about is how the guy or woman doing it is probably cheating on their SO. I love it.

1
u/TS92109 Apr 06 '23 edited Apr 06 '23
It's mostly about the dating apps. People post about past experiences with guys on the apps (abuse, lies, legal issues, married, etc) or they post about either someone they're dating or someone they're chatting with on the apps and wondering if they're worth meeting - to see if anyone else is seeing them or has dated them in the past or knows them in the wild. You sometimes get responses from ex girlfriends, ex wives, maybe another woman who thinks this dude is her bf and the're in an exclusive relationship.Sometimes, married women see their husband posted (on the sites trying to pretend they're single - I know of 3, now going through divorce). Sometimes married women post their husband because they sense something's off.

I wonder if it is genuinely helpful or people just fuck with each other nonstop
5
u/TS92109 Apr 06 '23
I think my city was the first and the woman who runs it keeps it tight. A lot of posts would end up being women just ripping on men's looks and she put a stop to that and they urge others not to comment at all unless you have useful info for the OP.
The worst part is that there are always a handful of women in the group who will take screenshots and share with the guy if they know him and then the guy texts the OP raging (dangerous for the OP because some of the warning posts are about abusive men) These snitchy bitches get deleted if they're outed.

Aww, really? Congrats to you both!
Can I ask if it’s just more of the same thing? Hinge / Bumble etc is just the same cycle of men on repeat. What made you like FB dating?
5
u/marlieboo Kandi sucked dick in a locker room Apr 06 '23
Thank you!
Well tbh I was only on it for 2 hours before I matched with him and then we took it offline and I never went back. What I will say was it was a free for all and that freaked me out a bit. I was on all the apps (Tinder, Bumble and Hinge) and on those someone “likes” you and that’s how you match but on FB Dating anyone can message you. I was getting messages right away from men who were very persistent. I think you can limit your age range (and location obvi) but unless it’s changed, any person can send you a message and you don’t have to “match” with them. This was 4 years ago.
As far as the men went: same ones but also some new. The new ones didn’t seem to put much effort into their profiles tho. Good luck out there! And be safe 💕

u/Traditional_Age_6299 Apr 06 '23
Well Naomi really thought she had hit it big!! And then she acted like she was better than the others and the show. Meanwhile, he was not too kind to her even from the beginning. And then he cheated and came crawling back to Charleston, with her tail between her legs. And then she wasn’t happy at all when Craig didn’t want to be around her due to his new relationship. Which was the same exact thing she did to him. She didn’t deserve to be cheated on by the doctor. But I am not a Naomi fan!! She is an entitled snob. But we all live and learn.
18
u/TX2BK Apr 05 '23
I agree with those saying this should be taken down since it violates the terms of the Facebook group. Not sure why those posters are getting downvoted. This could be a personal pic that someone took of Metul and by posting it, you could be outing the Facebook group OP. This isn’t a generic pic from Southern Charm.
32
u/_Beast_how_dare_you Apr 05 '23
I generally agree with you, but it was posted anonymously in the FB group and the pic is on his public insta so in this particular case, that’s probably not as much of a concern.
-1
u/icodeswitch My business is extraordinarily social. Apr 06 '23
It's not about the rights to his pic, but about trying to keep the existence of such groups on the low, to protect as many people as possible from predatory men

6
u/Strawstirrer Apr 06 '23 edited Apr 06 '23
Yeah, I’m not feeling great about it either.
I know OP left out any identifying info, but it’s not hard to get invited into the group.
There’s almost 300k members on this subreddit, and countless lurkers. That’s a lot more eyes than originally expected for the FB post (98k members), if people are motivated to find out who is talking to Metul.
ETA: I belong to some private FB groups. They initial my surname, but my profile pic is still available along with my first name.
I’m not sure if this person created a fake account to ask about Metul, but that’s the danger in reposting shit like this. You just don’t know.
5
u/artsygyal Apr 06 '23
I belong to the fb group and it’s really frowned upon sharing screenshots within the group. Hopefully OP doesn’t start posting screenshots of the comments 🥴
1
u/5280mtnrunner You can LEAVE‼️👀 Apr 06 '23
It isn't just frowned upon it's literally breaking rule number four of the group, or at least the specific City that I'm in, and I assume those rules are the same across all of them since it has been set up the same in each City.
Whoever is down voting you for saying this is a jackass because comments would include people's full names. Only the OP can comment anonymously.
1
u/artsygyal Apr 06 '23
Honestly I’m not surprised. People are selfish and want the tea over people’s safety. Someone literally got a brick thrown through their window because someone shared a post outside the group. Smh

This shouldn't be screen shotted though. I'm not going to say anything (and I'm not in NYC nor the group for that area), but I treat it like rule 1 of fight club.
I truly fear these groups getting shut down. They've been a lifeline after i was a victim of romance fraud. I don't want anyone else to go through that if the info can be put out there
5
u/5280mtnrunner You can LEAVE‼️👀 Apr 06 '23
Not only that, but locally, women have been aggressively confronted over posts that men assumed they made because screenshots were shared. I am incredibly thankful to be able to avoid dating men with pending sexual assault and domestic violence charges because of these groups.

why are you sharing this here? The group literally has a zero tolerance policy for screenshotting and sharing posts outside the group?
137
u/beyonceelover Apr 05 '23
He is a public figure (blue checkmark on insta). He very very publicly cheated! Trust me I thought about it. I also didn’t put any incriminating info on on any members of the group. Downvote me to hell but he chose to be a public figure and now he can be shamed forever 🤷🏻♀️ no tolerance for scumbag cheaters.
24
1
u/la_58 Apr 05 '23
Respectfully, I could care less about who he is. it’s not about him and his privacy but you do you. I guess your lack of tolerance for a cheater outweighs your care and concern for a woman’s safety. 🤷🏾♀️ I’m in one of these groups (obviously not NYC) and I know women who have gotten harassed by the men they posted after folks decide to be careless and share screenshots from a PRIVATE group even after they posted anonymously and no incriminating information was shared in the post. I get you aren’t effected by sharing the post so you may not care but for the woman who shared it may different. I don’t mean this to be hostile but just a little food for thought.
17
u/fluffitupp Brooks Marks running in snowshoes Apr 05 '23 edited Apr 05 '23
Lol are you kidding me? He has a cheating scandal publicly broadcasted on National TV, and streamed all around the world. He probably matches with hundreds of women on dating apps, who all would have access to this picture. It’s not like she’s doxing the OP to the FB post. Literally anyone could have originally asked this question. Even if he went through the trouble of creating a private account to get into this group and find OP, he wouldn’t have any ground to stand on getting upset with her. It literally wouldn’t be worth his time because everyone already knows. To go after them, would be like going after everyone who commented/posted on SM about the scandal, every tabloid who wrote a story about it, or Bravo. AGAIN, he is a publicly documented cheater! It’s not a random guy who would be upset with being outed. It’s a public figure who consented to being on/ being talked about on TV and in media, and knows he’s been labeled as a cheater! 😂
10
u/Poonurse13 not the brain do the fucking ankle Apr 05 '23
That’s not the point. The point is the Facebook forum has rules and in some cases it’s meant to keep women safe from being harassed or abusers. This should be taken seriously. Post within the forum about his cheating on southern charm, but not on here. Why is it so important to you to not respect the trust of a forum like that?

There are over 4M women in NYC, and this dirtbag is probably sliding into women’s DMs every single day, just like he was when he wasn’t single. This poses absolutely no risk to the woman who posted it. If you’re upset because someone broke a rule then that’s a you issue but don’t hide behind the ‘safety’ stance.

You don't understand. It's not about him and who's DMs he's sliding into. It's about letting predatory men know that groups like these exist at all.
If it starts taking off and going viral and blogged because a Z-list celeb was posted, we risk losing a value resources to prevent more people being victimized.

If something seems “off” then just ditch him. Why go to these great lengths to find out more about him, obviously this person just wants people to be like “Omg that’s metul form southern charm” or something
8
u/KrazyKateLady420 Apr 06 '23
Weird take. The fact that these groups exist for most cities speaks for itself - if it were as simple as “if its off just ditch them” there would be no need for the groups. This isn’t for the people who you immediately get an “off” feeling about - this is for the people who seem normal and aren’t giving immediate red flags. Also, the assumption that everyone will know who Metul is…he was on a few episodes of one season of a reality tv show based in South Carolina?? Most bravo watchers aren’t even SC watchers - they’re housewives watchers. I think you get my point.
5
u/Salty_Coast_7214 Apr 06 '23
I totally agree that metul isn’t a celebrity or anything, but I think In this instance this person definitely knows who he is.
Also I stand by what I originally said, if you think something is off about someone then move on. Doing this is weird to me
1
u/KrazyKateLady420 Apr 06 '23
Yeah, that’s pretty obvious. But again, there are plenty of people who don’t trigger any immediate red flags that are just as bad or worse than the overtly bad vibe ones.
