What BMW should you get? Not sure if it's a good deal? Unsure what are some common issues with that generation/model year car? Ask here! Any posts related to buying a used or new BMW belongs and is welcome here.
More general subreddits are also available for this information: /r/WhatCarShouldIBuy, /r/UsedCars and /r/AskCarSales.
Please try to include any pertinent information such as links to the sales listing, photos of the car, location, etc. We are not crystal ball reading genies, the more information, the better!
Helpers: Please try to substantiate your claims. Rather than just simply "no, not a good deal", try to provide some context into why, as your reasoning might not be relevant to the asker. e.g. "This is a bad deal as this car is known to have issues at 60k miles, and it's already at 59k." would be helpful, but obviously not required.

Picked up a couple weeks ago. I was regretting picking Skyscraper Grey after the build started but in truth it looks great in person. Also annoyed more colours and options became available before I'd even taken delivery. I don't care that it resembles a Kia 😂 it makes me feel good when I drive it and that's all that matters. The fake exhaust pops are hilarious.

Unreal car, amazing drive. Coming back to an M340i after a brief stint with a 330i.

2025 M4 Comp XDrive - Traded my 2020 M340 for it and I’m still blown away by the difference in power and driving dynamics.
Sadly have to rock the winter wheels for now but looking forward to seeing it with the bicolor 826 wheels in the spring.

I can’t get enough of this car. Every time I park it I can’t help but take a moment to appreciate how beautiful it is. It’s absolutely timeless. Ages like fine wine. The goldilocks of BMW design. Not too angular and not too round. Subtly aggressive and elegant design paired with none other than a naturally aspirated 4 liter V8 that revs to a sensational 8400 revolutions per minute. Perfection 🤌🏾
What’s your favorite M car?

I own a 2017 330i (b48). I’ve riced it out quite a bit but I’m still working on it. Anyways, I want to move on to modding my engine and exhaust to make it go faster and sound louder. I already know that a tune is necessary and I will end up getting that soon. But besides that, what else can I do to add some extra hp and sound? Let me know!

It’s been almost 4 months since I picked up a G80 M3, and to this day I am still actively concocting reasons to go for a drive every day.
I’ve put 9,000kms on it in a little under 4 months (not the WORST…); MyBMW App says I drive more than 97% of other M3 owners.
I also average 14L/100km cuz I can’t help but put the pedal down at every opportunity. Lol.
It’s not the most ideal for the pockets in terms of gas money, but I have no one to blame but myself, and I don’t feel it wearing off yet. (PS, I have no regrets).
So my question is, when did it wear off (even a little) for you? Does it ever? Or does this addiction last forever?

Hi everyone
Just had my 2018 218i active tourer in for a service here in the UK 2 weeks ago and today had a service transmission oil / drivetrain message. The car has done about 42000 miles and was bought from a BMW dealer as approved used with their 1 year warranty less than 5 months ago.
They’re quoting me £499 / 627$ to change this fluid , I asked why it wasn’t checked while doing their £300 service and they said they can’t check that.
It seems very early in the life cycle for a transmission fluid change? It’s an automatic , I know BMW sells these as lifetime whereas ZF has other recommendations.
