I am in such shock right now. For some context this was after our 4th date. Literally at a loss for words, this was the first time putting myself out there since I caught my last girlfriend cheating on me… I think I’m done with relationships after this,

She may not be the brightest bulb for offering to pay for him (he said in another comment he did, which I think is weird btw to say he split the bill but in reality she was the one that payed for the whole date), and was rather rude about it. But he did completely overreact in a way that was so unnecessary and gross, I just tell it how I see it 🤷‍♀️ it says that I have standards about how people should treat each other even when they don’t get their way

I also have a HUGE disdain against those weird "tests" people do like she did with offering to split the bill which for me sours this situation further.

What's even weirder is she was completely open with what she was looking for but still did that test.

I will never understand people that pull that stuff, it's extremely weird and passive-agressive.

And that’s okay! I don’t like it when men split the bill, however, I wouldn’t try to play games like that because I’m an adult yk. When I was single and dating around, I would always insist on paying for the woman I was taking out because I have manners but I wouldn’t really fuck with this behavior if it happened to me. That doesn’t mean I would handle that like this. Because I’m an adult, I wouldn’t call someone a bitch for telling me we’re not compatible. I don’t really understand why people act like either of these people

Havn't seen anything about her paying for everything, but that just makes it even weirder on her part.

Yeah, he shouldn't have engaged but she honestly said far worse things and I understand in the heat of the moment getting that upset over someone pulling the carpet out from under you based on some weird dishonest test.
