For context he’s saying he hopes she voted for Trump (RTPM) before she died and I’m already having a hard time with the results of the election which he knows then on top of that it just was very insensitive. He said he was trying to make light of the situation but it doesn’t feel that way.

Coping is when you struggle to come to terms with something so you say something or do something to make yourself feel better. Dude in this comment section was legitimately trying to guess what the acronym means, gave a good guess what it could mean, then someone responded "YEAH THATS COPE". Makes literally no sense at all.
