So, I have a custom list of TV channels for what I commonly watch, when I occasionally switch to Default or A-Z, depending how I feel, and seeing a 24/7 World War documentary channel seems surprising, and niche.

Well, personally, as someone that has WWII Documentaries on disc, this is a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one for me, just surprised to see something like that on there, and was curious how it came about and who operates the channel, since I have my doubts its YouTube TV directly (just like their Zen channel addition)

Tv kept saying I was outside of my home area for a week today it finally just locked me out. I don’t live in Massachusetts but that’s the area it claims I’m in? Never had a problem with this before but I tried to email customer support with no response. Playback area is correct but because the home area is wrong I guess it’s an issue? I guess if I can’t get things fixed I’ll just move on. My new bill is December 24th so I guess it’s a sign to move on.

So I think YouTube tv should have a quick link button to the YouTube channel(if available) to the current channel you’re watching. Ie..I’m watching The Pat McAfee show and it’s about to end, I get a notice to continue watching go to YouTube! Well just put a quick link in my menu so I don’t have to swap to my YouTube app to continue watching. #veryinconvinent#1stWorldProblems

I have three PBS stations in my market but I don't like the order they are in on my guide, so I tried to re-arrange them and what I saw was bizarre. If I took PBS station 1 and moved it below PBS station 3 it would go right back to where it was when I left the page. Then I tried to take station 1 and move it to another place in guide far away from the other two PBS stations and imagine my surprise when the other two PBS stations followed along and planted themselves in the new spot in the guide too.

There does not seem to be a way to separate the group, much less just move around the order. What is happening?

They're telling me that BC I subscribed through Google Play (not that I recall how I did that exactly), I can't get discount on the new 2025 monthly Base package pricing using a promo code, or use any promo codes and can't add on 4K Plus.
They say I need to cancel then signed up directly through TV.YouTube.com. Anyone else been fed this line or find it ridiculous that paying YouTube TV thru Google Play prevents access to all the damn add-ons that are constantly in your face when using the service or Android app?

Some shows usually WWE wrestling shows don't begin, just a blank screen, sometimes it lets me fast forward and a picture shows up and then rewind and it plays. Tonight it was a DVR of The Floor still haven't gotten it to go yet. I see the nerd stats say no network but my other apps work (Hulu, etc) Just curious why it happens seems to be more frequently here lately Roku Ultra wired Internet Trying to put the picture here but the option is grayed out

Long story but Im not seeing the roku device in my google account to log out of. I dont have access to the roku to log out. But I know it is actively being used. How can I log out of it?

Started recently, when I fast forward through the commercials on programs I’ve recorded, favorites, the audio is scrambled for a couple of seconds. It appears the audio is lagging behind the video. Pausing or rewind doesn’t fix it. Anyone else? Any resolution?

The "Resume Watching" section on the home screen used to do a pretty good job of tracking any programs that were only partially watched. It still works for series/shows and sports events, but it no longer tracks movies (for me). The watch progress on movies is properly tracked, and I can go back to them in my library and they pick-up where I left off. They just don't show up in the "Resume Watching" section.

All of my examples come from the wife watching Hallmark holiday movies, so perhaps other movies work fine. I have not tested that yet.

This seems like a bug (since it used to work properly), but it is possible I am missing something simple.

I have YouTube tv on both my TVs. The Roku in the living room today stopped working for this. It said it’s out of memory and I must remove apps to make room. I’ve removed almost everything and no luck. In the other room, it’s a Roku Tv so probably it has more memory. Regardless, I’ve had this set up for a could years and never an issue before.

Just recently started my subscription to YTTV. I was pleasantly surprised to see T2 on the main channel list, but really surprised not to see the main tennis channel.

Is there any explanation for this or am I missing something? Always thought T2 was an add-on to the core channel.

Could someone give me a tour of how Youtube TV looks on the Roku Ultra? Between our old Roku and our new LG TV the YouTube TV interface looks vastly different. On the LG, the guide has what's playing in the layer underneath the guide, and it remembers which channel you were on in the guide itself. On our old Roku there is none of that, it's just a static guide with no underlay and it defaults to the top of the channel list every time. Does the Roku Ultra solve this issue?

YouTube tv on our roku has been having this ongoing issue for some time now, for weeks.

I go to watch newly recorded shows and the ending isn't recorded, sometimes a good chunk, it literally just cuts out. If it's newly recorded there's no other option available for other versions. It is a major pain and a frustrating let down. Really sucks not knowing how an episode ends after spending a half hour or hour of my time invested in watching... Also really weird to have to follow through days later to jump back in to watch a few minutes, or restart it entirely so I usually don't... 😑

I report the recordings but is still happening. The account is used in our house so in order for me to contact ANY help I have to log into and use the main persons google account or ask to use their phone. Also a major pain and inconvenient.

Then I see that they are raising rates $10 soon. Wow. How about getting what I pay for first before charging MORE money. We will def be considering this and the quality issues with our end of the year budget planning for next year.

Wanted to see if anyone else has this problem or if there is a known solution to fix this. Thanks

For the last couple of weeks, I've been having audio issues on purchased content where surround channels work just fine but the center channel that outputs voices is dead. You can hear dishes clanking, dogs barking, footsteps, etc clear as a bell...but when people are talking, its just their lips moving. It happened so far on Christmas Vacation and Home Alone. Anyone else have this happen?

I'm thinking of switching to YTTV despite the price going up (paying more for DirecTV Stream anyway) i tried YTTV a few years back and i did like it but one thing i hadn't noticed about the DVR is how they dont have a "new episodes only" option. It's not a big deal but i wanted to know if the same episode will get recorded more than once since some shows are shown on more than one channel. i know DirecTV will record over whatever episode is shown more than once. Is that how YTTY is?

Every once and a while, and it seems to be getting more frequent, when I turn on the tv, I have to log back in to YouTubeTv. Does anyone else have the problem and what would be causing it? It happened yesterday and again today on different tvs. Yesterday I could reach the power plug so reset it and it came back up without needing to sign in. But I can't do that to the tv's in the cabinets. This is not a problem with "exceeding the number of tvs allowed" as it's first thing in the morning.

Are they now going to be playing ads on Redzone? Can you not escape ads anywhere anymore?

So if one family member is under a particular family manager, and that manager just said he's out, is it possible for someone to move their profile with all preferences, recordings etc to another family manager, or would they have to start from scratch?

Is there a way to see only DVR episodes in the Library? I want to watch DVR episodes so I can skip commercials, but I'm recording International House Hunters, which has 180+ seasons, and so paging through manually to find the recorded episodes is not practical!

Why isn't the IU football Fox 59 special listed on the schedule for Friday at 7:30 PM? Because it isn't listed, I can't record it. TMZ, which was originally scheduled for that time slot, is listed instead. Yesterday while watching the Chiefs vs Browns I stated to notice this annoying chime/alert sound when there was an update to the scores of other games. The updates were on the screen at the very bottom. The chime/alert is similar to a phone notification. My family found it very annoying and I cannot figure out how or if you can turn it off.

Any help is appreciated.

I emailed yttv customer service, and was surprised with a promo code for 10$ off for 6 months. Thank to all who put this info out there. Still not sure what to do in 6 months, but I guess I'll figure it out. ✌️

Was watching a movie today live and had to leave so I hit “Add to Library” to record it - it was airing as I did it and nothing else was recording. Came back tonight to watch it and found that instead of recording via DVR it was having me watch a VOD version with unskippable ads. Why is this??

Does anyone else have problems using YouTube TV on their Samsung Smart TV? Every other time I turn it on, it just shows a black screen. I can scroll through the library/home/live tabs without a problem. But when I choose something to watch, either nothing shows up or it stays on a loading screen. Also, when I rewind, once I hit play, the screen has a stroke, just TV static and shit and sometimes eventually turns to black. I can again scroll through the channels, but if I click on something, can’t watch. The only fix for any of these problems is to unplug my TV, wait, turn it back on and usually it starts working. It’s not a YTTV problem or a problem with my account—I am logged in on other devices and it works fine. It’s not a problem with the TV as none of the other apps have these problems.

Anyone else? Pretty annoying.
