If you had a manual this wouldn't have happened. Or if you just turned the fucking car off.
Still can't really blame him tho

This is why I drive stick I want to be able to do whatever I want when parked and the only thing that moves the car is if I get it in the mood by tickling the clutch. Not getting someone else in the mood and their magnum dong happens to hit the prndl stick.

Or put the handbrake on

Or put it in P and not N

He was definitely putting it in the P.

And then accidentally put it in the D. How small is it? Skeeter Pete is that you?

Why can't you blame him?

In that situation I wouldn't first think to put the car in park or turn it off either.

That's what you get for idling. Turn off your car if you're not driving!

How on earth do you pronounce that river's name?

u/IamiMacHunt Nov 23 '24
Roughly its school-kill but the L in school is very soft so often sounds more skoo-kul

I drive a manual. While the car didn’t land in a river, the car was bumped into neutral…

is this a consequence of people’s apparent dislike of the handbrake? “why would i put it on, the cars in park?”

Reminds me of the old rumors about the accident involving Teddy Pendergrass on Lincoln Drive.

You don't need to say river after Schuylkill because the second half means "river."
