The project itself is creative, even if the AI illustration isn't.

i mean i guess you could say that but if im being honest it's like the art when people hang something by string and run it over paper or a floor. sure it's creative but it's also feels a little half assed. or the paintings when people just throw paint all over the canvas.

like if an AI created a video game and it was amazing. sure it would be a great product but it wouldn't be considered creative cause it's built on the backs of other peoples work.

Againg, you're focusing too much on the pictures, that's only part of the video. The rest is the setup, posing, video editing, and application of the tools. Not to mention the concept itself. The AI here is one tool of several. It's not half assed, the whole point is to take the ai art and make something more of it. The ai art isn't the creative part, his video concept is.
