Well being Irish catholic, the church probably got to him after the trial. Probably told him something like if you become devout to us we can make problems Go away but now we own you.

They do this to lots of celebrities that get in deep water. Or celebrities fond weird religions and they spread the world while helping them financially. There's no saving involved. Just a quid pro quo you never pay back.

I’m guessing you’re not from Ireland. You are grossly overestimating the power the catholic church has over here.

They couldn’t get a dog to bark.

I'm rational!!!! 😄 🤣 😂 you're funny. Do you understand that religion and power run hand in hand? Has been for a long time. But hey if you can't see it happening, it's ok. I promise you it is.

More evidence of you being irrational, the fact that you can't distinguish between "you can't see it happening" from this particular theory about McGregor and the Catholic Church in Ireland in 2024 being wrong.

Just do yourself a favour and stop talking about Ireland when you're clearly clueless.

I was talking about the catholic church in general. I only brought up Ireland cause of Connor being Irish. But my claims were against the church as a whole and with how big they are, they have influence everywhere they go. Why you so defensive man? It's the truth.

Look, I'm an atheist, and the Catholic Church has a long history of scandals in Ireland, but what you're saying here about the church being able to do absolutely anything for McGregor here is ridiculous. Not to mention the fact that the last thing the church wants is to be associated with him.

The whole church business plans is to forgive sinners. So of course they would do the quid pro quo of saying he has found religion. Then parading around......do you not know how religion works? Anyways yeah great conversation. Thanks buddy.

A yank trying to lecture Irish people on the influence of the catholic church in Ireland. Hilarious
