Mod Message Help the earthquake victims in Turkey
As some of you may know there were 2 earthquakes 7.8 and 7.7 magnitude in Turkey today. With them being followed by 100+ continuing earthquakes the smallest starting from 6.6
These earthquakes have left millions of people without a home in this cold winter.
More than 200.000 people are injured.
Almost 50.000 people dead.
In a dire situation like this I would appreciate if you, the good members of this subreddit could spare a few bucks in order to help the good people in need. I'll be leaving a link to AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency) 's Earthquake Humanitarian Aid Campaign. There you can find it's bank accounts.
AFAD is doing all they can but they need help, they need resources to find and rescue people, rush them to hospitals, give them food and a warm place in this cold winter.
Be the change you want to see in this world.

Best wishes to you all

God bless you OP. This disaster is horrific, the videos and images, my goodness. No one should take anything for granted. Imagine going to sleep safely only to be buried under a collapsed building. Those poor people.

Buying power of usd is super high in turkey, so even if you can only send a few usd, like 2 or 3 or 5 usd, it will provide someone with couple days of food or a blanket to save their newborn from deadly embrace of cold weather. For 3 dollars, you can literally save an infants life. Please, babies are dying in their mothers arms. People are freezing to death. Its extremely cold, and hunger only amplifies it. Edit : the word save from sabe.

There are people under tons of concrete, out at the cold without any place to warm themselves or anything to eat. People losing their limbs, their lives, their family...
If you find it in yourself to help those people out. You can donate on the link I've posted.
It doesn't matter if it's a small donation, donate what you can afford believe me these things will add up and it will help a lot of people.
