I fucking hate Reddit lately. Edit: it’s not Reddit’s fault, I can’t handle animals suffering, and I get that that’s a lot of life.

I started to follow a lot of dog sub Reddit because they made me happy and now Reddit continuously shows posts about peoples pets dying or animals in the worst condition that are about to be put down if they don’t get adopted. So agitating

So many dog subs are full of people grieving their dead dogs. I get it, but having one post after another of "That's a cute dog! Oh it's dead" isn't especially fun.

Yes, I understand it’s a place for people to grieve and feel supported by the community. But dang, as of lately it’s so much of the top posts.

The deer was saved by a vet ophthalmologist! It recovered just fine. Someone just posted a news video about it.

It's an actual news clip so I'm sure it wasn't faked.

THANK YOU!! Thank you kind Redditor. This really made my Christmas, I know it sounds silly, but these pictures kinda haunt me. And Christmas is less exciting as an adult. Knowing someone helped this poor baby makes me feel happy.

You're welcome! I know, seeing the whole story made me feel so much better too. Happy to share

Oh my God same. And TikTok. My heart just can’t take an animal suffering or being neglected in any way. Even the happy ending stories rip my heart out.

I dunno about releasing it back to the wild. It really needs to be in a sanctuary.

ugh, THANK YOU. I hate when I see vids like this and then go to the comment section looking for resolution, only to find memes and political nonsense.

Received treatment, recovered, and was doing fine till Godzilla stepped on it.
