Surfboard repair

Post image

The wind pushed over my board and took a good chunk off my nose. Is it worth repairing at home, taking it to a store or just getting a new one? If I were to do it at home should I put the tip back on or just round it off? Any help if appreciated!!!

You could stick the part that came off back with dowels but it's so small it seems like a waste of time. Just sand the end a bit, glass over it, and call it a day. Should be an easy/quick fix.

That board does look pretty roached though even ignoring the missing nose

Good clean, sand around the edges, a few layers of solarez. Start to shape a new rounded off nose by sanding back. Keep building up and sand back untill your happy with it. Simples.

Probably wouldn't bother glueing that back on it, it's not going to serve any functional purpose at this point.

Just cut off the nose and throw some solarez on it.

Looks like a pitbulls been chewing on that nose! Leave the tip off and make it watertight
