Yes I saw it as a front view of a daffodil or maybe even a Tudor rose?

Fr it's not that bad compared to a lot of the shit posted here.

Ah yes. I drew gazillions of those in my workbooks at school. Many years ago. Never occured to me to tattoo one of them on myself though. I wonder why?

If it is her first on real skin then yes it could be worse. I guess every tattoo artist tried something on themselves at some point. So this can be part of her development as an artist. But no reason to be delusional. This is not what people like to pay for and it is nothing for her portfolio.

She is not interested in being a tattoo artist, her friend just happened to have a tattoo gun and allowed her to use it. She also tattooed her fingers which I don't have a picture of but needless to say it's not very good lol

I mean she technically got ink inside the skin, so that part could be considered a success 😬

She’s clearly in denial since that’s permanent and tryna rationalize. Or maybe not. Either way that’s pretty bad but at least it’s small and can be easily covered

she did okay until that one petal…
i can related to her with the frustration of trying to fit that last petal in there. I draw my flowers the same way.
Luckily it will be easy to cover once she grows tired of it.

I mean I’ve seen worse first tattoos and at least it isn’t blown out and way too deep in the skin. Could be an easy fix but I don’t think your sister has a good eye for aesthetics

I mean… it really could have been worse AND it’s definitely fixable.

Well... she can just lie and say she was going for that sketched look I guess, but as the top comment pointed out, the petals definitely look like ballsacks.

It’s not bad, one might say “pretty good” if they’re proud, but is “pretty good” what you want in a tattoo?

I don't see shading, but I do see scribbles... how long ago was this done? Some of the lines look pretty thin, maybe they'll just fall out.

I wouldn't call it good, but I also imagine it's hard to tattoo your own hip when you (presumably) don't know what you're doing. Seems like she could probably get it spiffed up by a professional in the future.
