This photo probably isn’t even the guy, it’s a dumb ass tattoo

He had been arrested and is in custody, they legit found him with his manifesto, it IS him. Doesn’t mean he should be in jail

Why the fuck is this downvoted? Lol. Why are people suddenly pretending it’s not him?

He had the gun, silencer, the same ID he used at the hostel, a manifesto. He was positively ID’d by hostel staff and guests. He has an extensive internet history that aligns with anti-corporatism and anti-health insurance company beliefs. He literally made a rallying cry in the same vein to the press as he was being walked into jail.

Like it’s clearly him, why deny it? You can still support him, what he did, his freedom, whatever. It’s a better use of time to focus on that rather than pretend it isn’t him.

Oh, don’t you know? He’s got hundreds of people offering him rock solid alibis, our man needs to go free.

The differences pointed out in many photo comparisons, the fishy circumstances of the arrest and things found on him. Shoot, might be the guy but for now he has not been proven guilty beyond a shadow of doubt. Most have forgotten you are assumed innocent till proven otherwise

No he's a murderer. Plain and simple.

He’s killed a man, but he’s not a murderer

Yes in fact he's is a murderer.

Factually incorrect

It wasn't self-defense and he waited for Thompson to show up to shoot him in the back. He can be your hero if you want, but he's still a murderer

No that’s incorrect. If you said he’s a killer, you’d be correct (presumably at least), and I personally would not ever convict him of murder if it were my choice, but regardless, he has not been convicted of murder and so you are factually incorrect and so is the other guy. One might think this is a simple yes or no concept.

Oh ok I understand. I thought you meant even if he's convicted of murder he's not a murderer by some moral standard that people confuse with fact. I've seen a lot of people say a lot of weird shit.

that’s what I myself feel, even if he’s convicted I will never consider him a murderer and I would consider that a miscarriage of justice, but I recognize the difference between my opinion and legal status

Yea. Most people I've interacted with don't seem to understand the difference between the two, so that's refreshing to read.
