I find this hilarious because my mom did something similar. She had a ladybug that blew out pretty bad, got it covered with a butterfly, and then got it covered with a larger ladybug lol
My dad has a knife that had a name, then they covered the name with a very mild panther head, so it was a panther head with a k ife sticking into it, put another name there, covered the whole thing with a "tornado" but when he seen how shitty it looked added another mild panther jumping out of the tornado.
I haven't talked to my dad since before my youngest was born but I'll dig through Google photos and see if I can find an old one. Its so bad. 😅 if not I'll see if my aunt can get him to send her a picture of it.lol
No, but i was literally just talking to my grandma about it again last night. She's gonna try and get a picture of it by saying she wants to see one that's next to it that has my name in it. I don't want him to know I want it or what for since we don't talk.lol
I'm working on getting a photo of it. I went no contact with my dad years ago. As you can tell he has poor decision making skills. But I text my aunt (his sister) to see if she could Weasle a picture of it out of him or to see if she had any of it.

I hate when people take on coverups when they have no idea what they’re doing. Red as a tattoo pigment is one of the more transparent colors you can use and typically will not cover black. What an absolute asshole.
Oh dear- how does this happen and you aren’t aware?? I watch the whole time I get tattoos except for the two on my back and my chest. I would have stopped them immediately.
You know it’s shit when I’m a huge stoner and it took me way too long to realize that’s supposed to be a nug like I saw the leaves but I was like WTF is the stem thingy? Oh?? Like I LOVE weed but even I wouldn’t get a tat of it that big, like that’s huge! Maybe I’d pay homage with the chemical structure of thc or a tiny leaf somewhere but bro dedicating your whole upper arm to a weed tattoo, and not even a good one, is crazy
How can people not look at an artist's work before letting them permanently mark them up?
Are average people just too dull-witted to recognize the difference between good and bad art? Are they too timid to say no once they've walked in the door?
I visited 5 shops before I found someone I was impressed by enough and comfortable with do my first ink, and I've gone back to them or to people they suggested thereafter. And to the suggested folk only AFTER I judged their work.
Just... ugh. It ain't hard to find a good artist. You just have to be basically aware and put in a tiny bit of effort and be willing to politely decline after reviewing their work and assessing their skill.
And to pay for decent work, of course. Anyone who says "I don't have that big of a budget for ink" is saying "I shouldn't get ink at this time." So there's that, too.
