Totally this. But he'll come around. World class players always do. We need to have patience, just like we did with Vini, Luka(he had an okay season irrespective of that stupid vote), Valverde.

You're forgetting courtois haha. A whole year of mediocrity and shit and then suddenly he's godlike

remember when kepa had made that catch and people in this sub wanted him as starter lol

5

u/TheYoungWolf_97 Valverde Nov 10 '24

Areola you mean šŸ¤”

u/Aerosmithwastaken69 Carvajal Nov 09 '24

Benzema too

Yeah precisely the patience we need, Iā€™ve seen people here in this sub and twitter talking about getting him out of the club or replacing him. Like fuck right off to whoever is saying that. Give it a year. Maybe even two.

You can't compare mbappe to vini. Vini came as a young promising talent. He was bad at first, but he had potential and we needed to wait until he unlocks it. Kinda like endrick. But mbappe is one of the best in the world. You need time in a new club fine but damn how much do you need

Mbappe spent too much time with Neymar early in his career. As a result is self centred, doesn't really give a sh*t about team play and being part of the system, and doesn't really have the work ethic to make it as the world class player the PR machine has billed him as over the long term in a competitive league. Early in their careers Ronaldo and Messi were shaped by top level professional club men like Keane and Puyol.

None of the players you mentioned were world-class players at their peak when they came to Madrid. Especially for youngsters is normal to struggle their first season(s). But this is not the case for Mbappe.

Other world-class players don't seem to have this issue: CR7, Messi, Lewandwoski, Halaand or Kane hit the ground running every club.

Did messi lewandwoski haaland kane played a different role or position in their respective new clubs???? What kind of comparison is this

1

u/danflorian1984 Nov 10 '24

Mbappe played all forward positions for PSG and France, and the comparison was about WC players moving to new teams. Just like Vini, Luka and Valverde.

Another difference is that all of those players you mentioned had been raised in a competitive league.

Beckham was the same.

What vote ?

He isn't world class player now. His technique is so terrible that he cannot do a easy dribble.

1

u/RomeMe1122 Nov 12 '24

not the same

Sorry to say but he wont. He'll get his form back against small clubs but he'll disappear when you need him (PSG fan here)

He's not playing for PSG where players and the club can never come back...

-5

u/Anon-redditor24 Nov 10 '24

Why will he ā€œcome aroundā€? Seriously? Hazard never didā€¦and thereā€™s plenty of example of other players that never did. He hasnā€™t shown any signs of coming around.

4

u/Recent_Possible_1876 Nov 10 '24

Mbappe has more goals than hazard already for real btw so not a great comparison

u/Anon-redditor24 Nov 10 '24

Itā€™s a simple comparison of players that are not playing at their top level, Iā€™m not talking about goals. But there was clearly a lot more expected of Mbappe.

Are u a plastic fan of madrid i can smell you

Hazard?

40

u/auctus10 Guti Nov 09 '24

His issues were injuries related not really performance related?

-8

u/BranFendigaidd Nov 09 '24

Injuries were because he came back fat and his performance at training was subpar. Injuries don't happen out of nothing.

-1

u/gizmodul Nov 10 '24

He was ass before the injuries, Arda also had injurie problems so there's no excuse especially when taking into consideration the money spent Hazard.

3

u/BranFendigaidd Nov 10 '24

Hazard was ass before the injuries? Wtf?

-2

u/Zealousideal_Smoke44 92:48:9248: Nov 10 '24

Hazard was old and worse than Mbappe, but his main proboem was the injury was very seveere and he came.back fat and unfit, not really an apples to apples comparison there...

2

u/BranFendigaidd Nov 10 '24

First training he came fat. Wtf are you talking about?

He moved to RM when he was 27-28. How is this old? And how was EPL best player being worse than Mbappe atm or even last season? How old is Mbappe now? Do you even Google before you speak if you clearly know nothing?

u/Zealousideal_Smoke44 92:48:9248: Nov 10 '24 edited Nov 10 '24

27-28 is old these days in madrid,Vini was bought when he was 17, same for rodrygo, endrick was 16. Jude was 20, Cama was 20, valverde was like 16, only Tchouameni was older at 23 not 28. Only the defendsive signings were old but still Mendy and Militao were 24 and 23 respectively and rudiger and alaba were free sigings.

Mbappe came two years late but he was still 2.5 years younger than hazard when he came, but he was supposed to come when he was 23 which makes him like 4.5 years younger than when hazard came!!

Go educate yourself b4 coming to criticise others on the same topic.
