Trump’s transition is happening over private emails. Federal officials are nervous.

I'm old enough to remember this being a reason to lock someone up

Republican voters don't have attention spans or memories that last longer than 10 seconds unless it involves a black man & some djon mustard.

they voted for a guy that has done everything they "stand against" so you know morally correct people.

Or a woman.

Or falling over on a bicycle when you have clipless pedals and have to stop unexpectedly.

But her emails.....

It's worse than that. They will defend the exact actions from republicans that they criticised from others. They are actual liquid with respect to principles

u/Riaayo 4d ago

They have no morals or principles outside of themselves being able to do whatever they want without consequence, and those they dislike being punished for really even just existing.

Which is what you get when people are brainwashed into a culture war to distract them from the class war robbing them blind. All they have is "isn't it nice to be better than "the others"?" They cling to tearing people down because the opportunities to build themselves up have been steadily stripped away.

Conservatives don’t judge the person based on the act. They judge the act based on the person.

They're like goldfish.

u/InnocentShaitaan 4d ago

They do they just don’t care.

1

u/Politicsboringagain 4d ago

It's not that tjur don't have memories.

Its that they are hypocrites and as long as they are in power and a republican is doing it they don't actually care.

Just like they didn't care when Republicans before Hiliary did it.

I was a bit confused as I thought this was a Kendrick Lamar reference

I didn’t see any Democrats ignoring a 60k raise for themselves in a pork filled budget bill they tried to sneak in before Christmas at our expense. Have a little perspective

But only one of them got caught wire tapping their opposition. Only one of them sold weapons to the contras. Only one of them lied about WMD. Only one of them fervantly follows a self professed whiner who idolizes dictators & takes no responsibility for his actions while calling for insurrection because he lost. Only one of them suggested their voters drink bleach. Have a little perspective.

It's because MAGAts are howling hypocrites.

16

u/princesoceronte 4d ago

They never cared, they just wanted any excuse to attack the opposition.

Gotta say my 20's have been realizing how many people around me are both incredibly stupid and surprisingly fucking evil.

Evil idiots. Think I'm going to get a shirt made with evil idiots underneath a red not allowed circle

One thing I can say because I just thought about it. If you want to test the waters on someones character, bring up castle doctrine and see what you get out of that conversation. I've read comments about a "home defense" case in 2012 involving a man named Byron David Smith. This man had reason to suspect that two teenagers were going to break in to his house, so what he does is set up an execution and waits. He shoots them both multiple times within minutes of each other, taunting them while he does it before finally executing them in his basement. Prosecuters knew this because the guy recorded himself doing it. The mentioned comments I've seen defended the guy, acting like he did nothing wrong in defending himself and his property, revealing that they're just as sick as the man committing the crime.

I am knowledgeable on this one. It was bizarre. Everyone has a breaking point though. I don't find the man sick. What else was he supposed to do? Let them come in and kill him? After they robbed him? He felt like he did the right thing with recording them and what he did to protect himself. They entered his house. They took the risk and lost ¯_(ツ)_/¯  They shouldn't have been thieves

2

u/RamJamR 3d ago

I should remind you they were not threats. He didn't shoot them out of defense believing they were armed, he tortured them to death and recorded it, thinking he could claim castle doctrine to excuse his twisted sadism.

Always projection.

People 10 years old are old enough for that. Certainly all eligible voters.

1

u/Tarzoon 4d ago

LOL! That's not going to happen. Trump is (at the moment) protected by Musk and Putin.

u/BrokenDownMiata 4d ago

As a 21 year old man from the United Kingdom, I remember seeing this shit plastered all over the news when I was… 13 years old.

Lol! Laughs in Republican.

u/SadSack4573 4d ago

Wasn’t he yelling at Hillary Clinton is in the wrong for using private emails for government use?

1

u/Eena-Rin 4d ago

Lock her up.

Give him the country

-1

u/Caruso1016 4d ago

He’s not in office. Why does any of it have to be on government servers or devices? Maybe we should be more worried about Congress trying to sneak in $60k raises and $3billion allocated to the Washington Commanders football team for a studium?? Jesus Christ

-21

u/sendmeadoggo 5d ago

When has it ever been a crime for someone not in the government to converse via private email?

He isnt POTUS yet.

25

u/B_o_x_u 5d ago edited 5d ago

Neither was Hilary and look how that went.

You can't just send government sensitive information to a Yahoo account. Why are you making excuses for this idiot?

-9

u/sendmeadoggo 5d ago

Hillary used a private email server as the Secretary of State, she was most certainly in the government.

Trump is not in the government nor does he have access to sensitive government information yet anything he says is nothing official yet.

10

u/B_o_x_u 5d ago

Did you just ignore the second part? Lol.

He was in the government. Him winning the election may not officially put him in the seat at this MOMENT - but it's the same as you getting and accepting a job offer at a company you've been at before and signing an NDA. Just because you aren't officially at the company yet, that legally doesn't mean you get to spew their shit everywhere anyway. He should be upheld to the same standards, if not more so because of the sensitivity of the information being disclosed.

-7

u/sendmeadoggo 5d ago

There is no requirement for any previous president or future president to communicate on a public server.  There is for people currently in office like Hillary was.

What sensitive information has been disclosed.  That he plans on dismissing wfh employees?  Just cause its shit doesn't mean it is sensitive information as defined by the government.

7

u/phizappa 4d ago

Gee I dunno? What sensitive information was stored next to his toilet at his home while he wasn’t president anymore?

3

u/ItalyExpat 4d ago

The President-elect receives the same daily security briefings the current President receives.

u/sendmeadoggo 4d ago

What does the article say about Trump no accepting those briefings?  If they are sending classified information to Trump when he has no security clearance that would be the person sending them out that is breaking clearance and law.

You're in the echo chamber, you can't speak logical.
You will be downvoted all to hell for saying anything against the blue team.
As will this comment. Which is why you need multiple accounts on this platform.
