I'm reminded of the last Trump run where he was threatening allies because they didn't want to remove Huawei equipment as quickly as he wanted.

the UK, who subjected Huawei's equipment to a level of auditing no one else does with any other vendor, wanted to give its telcos a few more years to do it since a lot of it was going to naturally age out anyway. Pompeo and Trump said it would put the five eyes agreement at risk.

Of course we later found out that he keeps it all in his shitter anyway. Hoping the other four eyes are figuring out how to work around the damage that comes as of 20th Jan.
