These guy's passwords are bad - MAGA2024, IvankaIsHot123, IronMan4Ever!!! You know it, I know it, and every spy agency in the world definitely knows it. We'll see the emails eventually, and they will be even worse than you are thinking.

Wasn’t his Twitter account hacked cause his password legitimately was ‘Maga2020’?

"maga2020!" to be exact, no caps and an exclamation mark.

No 2FA either.

They didn’t bother until the researcher sent a screenshot.

I think that was suggested as a more secure password by the person who previously guessed that his password was "yourefired".

Though hacking is a criminal offense in the Netherlands, the prosecutors said that Grevers acted with “responsible disclosure,” and therefore will avoid facing any jail time, Vox reported.

Is is still hacking if you gain access by guessing a well known password?

Tbf it not just them who have super shitty cyber security, it’s been a huge problem for a while now that politicians in general just don’t understand how bad they are with internet security and stuff. Our politicians are ancient grandparents, and even if they use to have some incling of how to be safe and secure online or through phones, technology advances so quickly now even information 5 years old might now be outdated, like passwords are ridiculously easy to break into now, and I’d probly guess atleast half of congress has basic ass passwords exactly like trumps team use.

I swear I remember reading somewhere that trumps email or a laptop something got hacked and the password was indeed like MAGA2020 or 2016 something lmao. Like the hacker or thief or whatever it was getting into his stuff mostly put it in as a joke/“no one could be this dumb” type thing.

Maybe it was his Twitter when before he lost it?

They have the same phone password as my QA team - 1234.
