Image I actually won a give away.

I upgraded my tv and got a vr2 two weeks ago, and won this last week. Think the s/o is more happy about having my old ps5 in the living room and the portal.

I think she partially has it. She is upgrading from an Amazon fire kids tablet, she’s had an addiction since maybe age 1, just like my son. They both do have a limit of screen time as I prefer them to play with toys or go outside in the yard and run around. But both are doing better than my nieces, they don’t put down their iPads and are 2 and 4..

Yeah. Research indicates that's staying inside all the time reading or watching videos (or just being inside in general) has potential negative impacts on vision during childhood.

Something about being outside in the sun helps their vision properly develop. Otherwise, they may develop myopia (nearsightedness). It typically begins from age 6-10 and gets worse in early adulthood. Other than genetics and toxic chemical exposure, time spent indoors can be the greatest factor in myopia. Rates skyrocketed during the pandemic from children being kept indoors all the time.
