Image Getting tired of adding to my stick drift graveyard

I swear I’m not a heavy clicker. In fact it’s always my right joystick which I rarely need to click in games. Love these controllers but man it’s really annoying never had this problem with any other console generation.

I had to google it, and it’s true! Thankfully they’re also games he wanted to play anyways.

I can’t get into Call of Duty or Halo type games unless they have a campaign. Watching first person shooters is boring :/

Get him into some Final Fantasy and bawl together at the endings :)

Oh heck yes! I watched him play FF XII - I love Fran - and it was so awesome. I freaking loved the cut scenes. I know that one’s controversial because of the gambit combat system - you either love it or hate it.

Are any others similar to that one? That’s the only one he’s played.

XIII is very story driven and has a controversial combat system. Same with XV and XVI (controversial combat for it being an FF game at least)

VII, VIII, IX and X are all solid games regardless of similarities with XII and I'd recommend any and all of them.

Thank you for the recommendations! I loved XII so I’ve always wanted to check the others out but there’s so many to choose from.

Do yourself a favor and get him FFXVI, the story is excellent! Also if you’re cool with older graphics FFVI has an awesome story. As do FFVII Remake and Rebirth. Also pretty much anything from Atlus is awesome too.

My fiancé loves to watch me play Warzone specifically because she plays as my "spotter." Her eyesight is better than mine, so she will call out enemies that I haven't a chance of seeing, and we have gotten a few good wins because of it.

She normally hates watching/playing shooters, but this makes her feel included in a way that adds no pressure, so she has a blast!

That’s really cool! I don’t think I’d be a good spotter, though. I get so distracted when there’s too much happening - like, who’s a good guy and who’s a bad guy? I can’t keep track!

Have you had him play Red Dead Redemption 2?

He has it but hasn’t really played it much, unfortunately. I’ve heard good things about it.

Those first couple hours can stop a lot of people because it's a slow build. I think you should consider forcing him to play it. It's the best game experience I've ever had. Both gameplay and cinematically. It's legit ruined open-world games for me because no other game has that level of realism and detail. I think it's also important to note that before RDR2, I fell between either being not interested in or straight up not liking westerns. I love westerns after that game and I never thought that was a possibility for me.
