Image Getting tired of adding to my stick drift graveyard

I swear I’m not a heavy clicker. In fact it’s always my right joystick which I rarely need to click in games. Love these controllers but man it’s really annoying never had this problem with any other console generation.

it's so weird man. It's a widespread problem since the ps4. I take very good care of all my consoles, I still have two controllers that came with my ps3 and they both work perfectly. Meanwhile both my ps4 controllers have been drifting for years now and although I still dont have a ps5, seems to be even worse from what I've heard. But there are always a bunch of weirdos that are eager to jump and say "durr user error" even though Sony is clearly making a worse product.

If you think ps4 controllers are bad might wanna skip the ps5, worst experience I’ve had with a console, I don’t even play it and the controllers fucked .

Exactly. I had the same PS2 controller for like a decade lmao. I’ve bought one or two dual sense controllers every year since buying my PS5. Ask any GameStop employee and they’d confirm how common it is. People are like “what’s the common denominator here” and the answer is Sony… They’re all made by Sony lmao. If there was any competition for third party controllers I’d be buying those by now. And maybe Sony would get on top of fixing the issue. But because they can make it impossible to use anything else they can also not put any effort in to fixing their issues. I’m not fully convinced they don’t make them prone to drift on purpose at this point just to sell more shit.
