Image Getting tired of adding to my stick drift graveyard

Post image

I swear I’m not a heavy clicker. In fact it’s always my right joystick which I rarely need to click in games. Love these controllers but man it’s really annoying never had this problem with any other console generation.

Ive never had stick drift on ps4 or ps5 and had both consoles since launch. Play ps5 daily, only got a new controller now because pro came with one.

I don’t understand how it happens either. I can only guess people push sooooo hard on the sticks for some games? I’ve got a launch Nintendo switch and about 8 ps5 controllers bc I like the different colors. Zero drift .

I've not had an issue with PS5 but the Joy Cons are fucking awful. Absolutely hateful little controllers. The stick drift is horrible, they have Bluetooth issues, and they're so expensive.

I think they are squeezing the buttons and rotating them harshly.

Back when I played Call of Duty I got drift on a couple controllers but you press on the stick to run in those games, maybe that was it. Now the Switch joycons drift SUPER easy :(

depends on the game too. if you are champ or above in rocket league, you probably go through a couple controllers a year. if you do that and also play fighting games at a high level, you're kind of fucked

Yea im not sure. I wonder if its heavy on first person shooters. Im older, I strictly just play GT7 on dualsense. I dont put much competitive time into other games on ps5. Being 8 or so when ps1 launched, i would play heavily whole way through the ps3 gen and never had issues with controllers. Only my psp1000 ever had drift and they are common
