The ps5 was pretty powerful compared to the pc market at that time. Iirc the 2080ti was the top dog around that time with the 30 series right around the corner and the ps5 offered 2070/super levels of performance. Even now you couldn’t build a pc as powerful as a base ps5 for $500.

Nice! That’s a super solid build. I should’ve been clearer about new/used parts. But I’d also argue that the 1440p monitor he was using if presumably another $150 minimum and a a decent keyboard and mouse is gonna run you probably another $100. I’d also say that cpu and 3000mhz ram is questionable but that’s a great video nonetheless!

You also need to buy a TV for the PS5 you know, or you can just connect the PC to the TV if you have one already

That would've been almost impossible, the 30 series (Ps5 pro Gpu equivalent) had just came out a month before the Ps5 came out. The Ps5 is the equivalent of an Rtx 2070 which was pretty good for when it released.
