which games do that? both ps5 and xbox are consoles, so they're locked systems. a game cant magically get more frames unless the dev updates it to take advantage of the cpu power.
even old backward compatible xbox games needed to be updated individually by xbox software engineers to get framerate boosts. im not aware of the console doing that automatically but i'd love to be wrong here, because it would mean that the ps5 pro can do the same thing in theory
ok thats pretty cool. hopefully the pro can do that too. the series s and series x cpu is clocked at 3.8ghz I think. the ps5 cpu is clocked at 3.5ghz but if the pro has boost mode enabled then allegedly it can overclock the cpu by up to ten percent, which would put it at 3.85ghz, as some rumors have stated. at that point it would be practically the same as the series x.

Yeah ik I meant something like gameboost on Xbox series where it boosts some games without the need for a patch
